Pickle in a multicooker Brand

Ingredients

lean meat 300-350 gr
salted cucumbers 200 g
medium onion 1 PC
medium carrots 1 PC
medium potatoes 3 pcs.
pearl barley 1 m. St
tomato paste or cucumber pickle 1-2 tbsp. l.
vegetable oil 2-3 st. spoons
salt, spices, bay leaf taste
boiling water 1.2-1.5 l

Cooking method

  • - soak barley for an hour, rinse until transparent
  • - peel and cut vegetables
  • - cut pickled cucumbers, it is better to take barrels, if the cucumbers are large, cut off the skin and cut into cubes, if small, then into circles, if very salty or sour, then rinse
  • - cut the meat into small pieces 3-5 cm
  • - fry the onion in oil first, 5-7 minutes
  • - add carrots and cucumbers, fry for another 5 minutes
  • - put the meat with vegetables and fry for another 5-7 minutes, until the color changes
  • - turn off the program, add potatoes, pearl barley, salt, add spices and bay leaves, pour over hot water, turn on the soup mode for 1.5 hours
  • - at the end of the program, add optional tomato paste or cucumber pickle, bring to a boil by steaming or heating, but not for long
  • - turn off the cartoon and leave the pickle to insist for 20-30 minutes.

Time for preparing:

1.5-2 hours

Note

from myself I want to add that the pickle came out delicious, I soaked the pearl barley in warm water, if you like soft pearl barley, then you need to cook it for 2 hours, I cooked 1.5 and as it turned out this is quite enough
I also cooked pickle with rice, millet and buckwheat, but with barley it is certainly a classic
