Cooking method

  • I would like to offer you a delicious and quite easy to prepare Fish Cake.
  • Take a cake pan (I have a silicone one) measuring 25x12 cm. Grease its entire inner surface with butter and carefully cover it with baking paper. The paper should stick to the walls of the mold, if necessary, the paper itself can also be oiled.

  • Cut one carrot into very thin slices and overlap in the mold so that no voids remain.

  • Grate the rest of the carrots on a coarse grater.
  • Cut the fish fillet into strips and place on the carrots. Season with a little salt and pepper.

  • Sprinkle half of the gelatin on the fish.
  • Steam the prunes, cut into strips and place on the fish. But do not overdo it, it is better not to report it than to shift it, since prunes have a pronounced taste, they can interrupt everything else and, thereby, ruin the dish.
  • Chop the onion as small as possible and place it in the mold as well.

  • Finely chop the dill and lay out the next layer.
  • For dill - half the norm of grated carrots.

  • Press and then lay out the layers in the following sequence: fish, salt, pepper, remaining gelatin, prunes, dill, onions, carrots.
  • Press well again and fill with fill. To do this, mix the eggs with milk, add 1 flat teaspoon of salt, pepper and mix. Distribute the filling evenly, so that it almost covers the top carrot layer. If the pouring was not enough, then you need to prepare another portion, or half of the pouring portion. It took me 1.5 servings.

  • Let the cake stand for 10-15 minutes, so that the pouring goes from top to bottom and soaks the whole cake.
  • Bake at 180 degrees for 60 minutes. Let the cake cool in the mold, then remove from it and remove the paper.

  • Decorate as you wish and serve.
