  • I didn’t put anything in - because it was the "pure taste" of the celery root soup that was important.

The dish is designed for

3 liters

Time for preparing:

1 hour

Note

: girl_in_dreams: I was very, very pleased
The soup turned out and not thick - that a spoon is worth it and not liquid
Very tasty - this is how my grandmother used to cook it
The meat is cooked - that's what you need.
And soft and does not crumble into porridge.
Pickled cucumbers - keep "shape"
The potato was cooked very fully - but it did not fall apart - it also "keeps its shape"
Pearl barley - as it should be - delicious and fully cooked

Celery is delicious and very appropriate in this soup

Hello. And what, don't you put onions in the soup?

Hello. And what, don't you put onions in the soup?
There are onions in the recipe, of course!
I just didn't put it - because I only put it in those soups - where I do frying.
There was no roasting - therefore - onions were excluded.

Thanks for the quick response. I practically never fry in soups (this is how it happened from a young age due to heartburn in my husband, and they got used to it), but I hardly do anything without onions. We generally eat a lot of onions.
Now the pickle is being prepared according to your recipe, but I cut half of the onion.
