Wheat flour 350 g + for sprinkling the mold

Cooking method

  • This recipe is for 1000ml ceramic mold.

  • Cooking the dough.
  • All foods should be at about the same temperature. Remove eggs from the refrigerator in advance. It is better to melt the butter and cool slightly so that it is not very hot before kneading. Heat the milk.
  • Preheat oven to 170-165aboutC. Grease the mold well with butter and sprinkle with flour.
  • Knead the dough quickly by mixing all the ingredients. I also added vanillin. Cupcake dough.
  • Pour all the dough into most of the mold, flatten a little, cover with the second part of the mold and put in the oven for an hour. After an hour, turn off the oven, but do not remove the form for another 20 minutes, then remove it from the oven, but do not open it for about 30 minutes.
  • After the lamb has cooled slightly in the mold (when the hands are warm), carefully pull it out of there.
  • Actually, the recipe says that cool the lamb in the form, then pull it out. But, firstly, I was eager to see what happened, and secondly, as always, I was in a hurry.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

The dish is designed for

Test for 1 small mold

Time for preparing:

2 hours

Note

The recipe is taken from the Czech book "Classic Czech cuisine, or how our grandmothers cooked".
I baked a lamb for Easter. The dough is delicious, but the main thing here is tradition!

The lamb is wonderful, but this topic has long been on the forum - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=127232.0

The theme is the theme, and there are differences in the recipes.
Irin, thanks for the wonderful lamb

Lamb sympathetic-sh-shny. And where can you get such a form?
tatulja12
Irinawhat a beautiful lamb! I didn’t even see such forms, and I didn’t even know about their existence.
Merri
Thank you all very much for your feedback !!!
There are many sheep on the forum, I know. My mistake is that there are few photos, I was in a hurry. I have a special ceramic shape. I bought it in Prague (I barely found it). The baking mode is very different from metal molds. I'll take a picture of the form, but I probably won't have time to insert the process, Easter will not be soon. This lamb was baked for Catholic Easter.

Girls, our Lulek has similar forms!

I have a special ceramic shape.
Merri! Hello! I also want to try your recipe (dough). It is more interesting when lambs / lambs of different taste are on the festive table. Please tell me how liquid the dough is, will it flow into the corners of the mold (mine will already be collected)? Or is it better to try and use your way of filling and oven with a metal mold, laying my mold on its side?
Another question - what is the volume of your ceramic? To convert to mine, you need to know.
Merri, since the baking method is different, do you think, should I sign the topic "in a ceramic mold" in the title, and me in a "metal mold"? After all, someone can search ...

Olya, it's a good idea to add the title, and I'll do it!
The dough has a muffin consistency, not too liquid, but I think it will spread in shape when heated easily. I can't say anything about the volume. The fact is that the Czechs are quite conservative people. When I was choosing a recipe for a lamb, I was faced with the fact that it says everywhere that the amount of dough for one small form. I had no idea to what size to attribute my form! It looks not small. I was very worried about the amount of test. To my surprise, the dough turned out to be just enough to fill the bottom part to the top, the top (back) is covered like a saucepan lid and into the oven. When baking, the "lid" is filled with dough into the tuft. So I learned that my form is small, and that such forms have been made from time immemorial, all the time the same!
Olya, I think that the ceramic form is a little larger (I saw metal in the Czech Republic), if there is a little dough left, you will bake cupcakes.

... a good idea to add a title ...
Ira, but I can only fix it with the help of a moderator. I will ask.

Irina, the volume is easy to recognize by pouring water into the mold. How many grams of water fit, so is the volume.

... if there is some dough left, you can bake muffins ...
A very good idea! You can even knead 2 servings for more cupcakes. Every time I bake the lamb, I regret how much free space remains in the oven. And here the dough is the same, which means it will be baked at about the same time! Put a mold with a lamb and a silicone mold with muffins next to it. It will just be. Thank you, Irina!

I went to measure!
Lёlka
Today I ordered a form for 1.9 liters. Waiting for the measurement results !!!
Merri
Girls, 1 liter uniform. Let me remind you that it is called small! Enough for a large company.
Lёlka
Wow, there are already pictures of the form !. An interesting one. Like a saucepan. ... Hmm, if it's a 1 liter lamb. and I will have a baking dish of 1.9 l, how much to increase the baking time?
Merri
Olga, probably twice. The fact is that the form is thick and cold, the ceramics heats up for a long time, but it cools down for a long time, so the baking mode is specific and the dough should not be cold, otherwise the oil will go to the bottom and the ram will not be homogeneous.
Where did you order the form? It's hard to imagine such a big one. Heavy! Mine weighs 2,800 g.
Olga from Voronezh
What a shape!
Irina! I saw a similar one a year ago, but in the form of a pig. The size is large - with a good duck.
I also saw a small ram as a child visiting a grandmother. She took great care of it and kept beads in it.
Thanks for measuring the shape!
The title of my theme has already changed. Thanks Anka_DL
Vitalinka
Merriwhat a beautiful lamb! And the shape is generally super!

I thought so too, but it's better to ask. And I ordered a metal form for the Corolla. ru for 1108 p. And later I saw on another site (mnika / ru) for 925 rubles. but I didn't find ceramic anywhere. But then I found a website (firebird., Where there is a lot of everything. And such a choice of silicone molds!

As I understand it! I myself am now running around with it, I don't know where to put it so that no one breaks it! And how we took her home! This is the whole story.

but I didn't find ceramic anywhere

This is understandable! How to send it ?! Heavy and fragile. They are also sold in the Czech Republic, as I understood, before Easter, in the summer I went to all hardware stores, barely found them. The form was the last, it took a long time to get out of the back room to great mutual pleasure.
In a metal form, you need to bake like Olga from Voronezh.
Merri
Found where they sell Easter ceramic forms 🔗
Lёlka
Irochka, thanks for the answers. And about the ceramic shape ... Yes, of course, it is good. But even if they deliver her to me, it's not a fact that her legs and horns with our mail will not remain from her

Olga, there, on the site, it is written about these forms that the goods should be received in the warehouse. We need to go to the Czech Republic!
Lёlka
Eh ... uh-t-ta, of course, good, but I'm not going to the Czech Republic yet
Merri
Then the metal will do for now!
Lily
Merri, thanks for the recipe, good creamy taste, though I added raisins .... the cut is finely porous (I don’t know what it should be), I doubt it’s a little bit probably not enough baking powder ... the lamb will go away as a gift, there are two of them from this norm.
Merri
Lily, Elena, for health and for the joy of loved ones!
The dough should be fine-pored, homogeneous, everything is correct. No photo left? Are the molds metal?
Lily
Merri, the form is metal, there is a photo, but not very

Easter lamb in ceramic form

This is how I prepare them for transportation .... now they are already delivered!
Merri
Lily, Elena, wonderful lambs! They always add a holiday feeling! How do you manage to whiten them like that?
