For me, when buying the first multi, Brand, the decisive thing was to turn off the heating, I don't need it at all, I always turn it off. So for some, this is a useful feature!
But I took Redmond 02 exclusively for morning milk porridge. It is a pity, of course, that the heating does not turn off, but it is not critical for cereals, the maximum that happens is that the porridge thickens when we sleep for a long time on weekends)))
Rick
When I only had a Brand with non-switchable heating in advance, this did not bother me at all. Now I also have 01, where I sometimes turn off the heating in advance. So chasing this function is really not necessary at all. There is - well, no - you can do it.
And in Brand, if I really wanted not to switch to heating, I just put the preparation with a delay and thought about it so that it was ready for my arrival.
Varona
Yes, if there is an opportunity to guess the delayed start time, then turning off the auto-heating is not very necessary. But I often, leaving on business for 2 hours, can return in 4-5. So for me personally, this function would be very convenient.
Vei
So when I come back later than planned, thanks to the heating, I find my dish warm and ready for an instant extermination use))))
Varona
I downloaded and reviewed the instructions for Redmond 01 and 02.

I understood this way:
1. Press the Start button => The program starts
2. PRESS AGAIN the Start button (or, perhaps, press the Heat / Cancel) => the Heat / Cancel indicator goes out, the auto heat is turned off.

For 01 it works, for 02 it does not (I think it was checked by one of the participants in the topic)

BUT!!!!!!

There is one more point in the instruction for 02:

Preliminary shutdown of auto-heating

It is not always desirable to turn on auto-heating after the end of a cooking program. Taking this into account, the REDMOND RMC-02 multi-cooker provides for the possibility of disabling this function in advance during the start or operation of the main cooking program.

To do this, during the start or operation of the program press the "Start" button again until the indicator of the "Heat / Cancel" button turns off... To reactivate auto-heat, press the Start button again until the Heat / Cancel button light comes on.

I understood so:
1. Press the Start button => The program starts
2. PRESS AND HOLD the Start button BEFORE THE INDICATOR turns OFF => the Heating / Cancel indicator goes out, the auto heating is turned off.

Who-thread tried to HOLD the Start button? Maybe he turns off after all?
Vei
For me 02 has the following advantages:
- Teflon bowl with smooth, honeycomb-free walls
- very good roasting in Bake mode
- really small size

Everything else is broadly the same.
Manna
Varona, the electronic version of the instruction does not correspond to the printed version and the actual state of affairs. For 02, the heating is NOT switched off. It turns off at 01.

Well, if you read this Temko, you would see everything, of course you would try everything.
Masinen
But I didn’t try))) and didn’t even know that it’s possible)) and by the way, in 01, I never turned off the heating before))
Today at Express I made pasta according to Irina's recipe, well, very tasty)
I thought that this is only possible in Stadler, but it is possible in rare cases)))

Mash! Wow! Discussed, discussed this issue! By the way, this was one of the points why I bought 01 after all. True, not the main one.
vernisag
Now a new Redmond RMC-M02 has come out, maybe it has a switchable heating ... The truth looks exactly the same.
lungwort
The day before yesterday I bought two babies (for myself and for my old parents). I liked the multicooker. I managed to make yogurt, rice milk porridge with apple and chicken soup. With yogurt, not everything is as we would like. I like it better in Oursson 5005. I can't say that the multicooker is frying briskly yet. In the baking mode, the pan warmed up after 6 minutes, and in 5 minutes the carrots and onions were salted (they certainly were not fried). I didn't keep it on time anymore, I didn't need it. The soup in 40 minutes turned out to be excellent and for 4 adult portions. In 20 min. put the boiled dumplings before the end. The dumplings didn't fall apart. So far I like everything, and considering that the cartoon was bought for baby food - just super! I noticed that there are many recipes on the forum for 01 multi, but for 02 it is not enough yet. I think that any recipes can be adapted by adapting to the multicooker.
Masinen
I congratulate you on the baby)) you can take recipes from 01 model, so good luck to you)))
lungwort
: hi: I love Oursson very much, but as I cook borscht in it, we eat it for 3 days. And in the baby - soup at a time. This suits me very well. Saving products in their purest form.
lungwort
I still have a problem with baking. Charlotte, according to the instructions, rose to the lid and was imprinted into it, and then fell off. It really did not affect the taste, but still unpleasant. I think that 3 large eggs for a biscuit in this baby is too much, the dough turned out to be more than half the pan. I had to urgently correct the situation _ sbatsala cream, smeared two cakes with it, smeared it on all sides and 4 people ate the cake for 2 days.
lungwort
And today I baked a lean gingerbread according to Lyuba's recipe. The recipe is practically the same as the one the girls brought here before. Added only dried cranberries instead of other dried fruits and nuts. It turned out almost by 5. Minus - the dome by 2 cm in D was imprinted into the lid. I look, admire the gingerbread and wait for my husband. We will try together. The baby is still living up to expectations.
lungwort
We tried it. Somewhat humid. 45 minutes was not enough. Next time you will need to leave on Heating for 15-20 minutes.
Nata-sha
I got myself a slow cooker. Such a "multi-brother" for the baby-RMC_01: girl_haha: I immediately decided to try the baking mode.
Potato casserole in 40 minutes not baked. Next time I'll put 25-30
Multicooker Redmond RMC-02
Rug in 50 minutes seemed to be too lazy, I think it can be longer
Multicooker Redmond RMC-02
Multicooker Redmond RMC-02
Nata-sha
Thank you! Made a rug just like you, with cocoa. It turned out very tasty.
Yes, by the way, the black kid has a white cord Is this all for everyone, or was I "lucky? And there is no ladle yet. That seems to be not really needed, but you feel deprived
Girls, who cooks what on the express train?
Masinen
My cord is also white. I don't remember about the ladle.
And on the express train, you can fry vegetables for soup or borscht. Boil the macaroons.
Nata-sha
Thanks, so this program is kind of like steaming or baking? And the kid also cooks porridge. as 01 or less time to put?
Masinen
Not like baking. Well, try to fry or boil something on it))
And I put porridge everywhere at the same time)

Girls, who cooks what on the express train?
On the Express, I cooked a side dish of rice and toasted raw noodles. I like it. It's good that you can always open the lid and check what matters are there. I liked very much to cook the soup with the Baby Food. I had to leave the house, but I wanted to get a soup that is called from a boil. On Baking, I fried roots and onions, then slightly small minced chicken meatballs with noodles, added 2 chopped potatoes, finely chopped tomato, poured everything with boiling water a little more and left it on Baby Food. After 4 hours, I opened the lid and the result was pleasing.
Nikasa
Tell me, who cooks rice for a side dish in what proportion?
And then I'm used to 2 cups of rice in the brand - that means, to the 2 cup mark of water pour. And here the brandik is busy, I decided to make a side dish in the baby, and even got confused ... How much water is needed for rice?

I cook thoroughly washed round grain not parboiled rice in it in a 1: 1 ratio, but you need to drain the water VERY well from it (in a colander) so that it is almost dry at the exit. Otherwise it will gelatinize. Groats mode for 30-35 minutes no more.
vernisag
I cook steamed 1: 2 ... and the other, any 1: 1.2-1.5 It seems to me 1: 1 only in pressure cookers they cook
Nikasa
And if not steamed long? Also 1 to 2? And on Krupa-rice or Express program?
In general, I probably need to experiment ... Now I'm going to put 1 to 1.5 on Rice-groats, I'll see what happens ...
lungwort
Girls, today I got a GORGEOUS noodle casserole! I have never received such a beautiful pale pink crust in Oursson. Probably not completely figured out with Baking. About a little less than 1/2 of a saucepan of the vermicelli cooked here on the Express was mixed with cottage cheese 250g, 2 0.5 cups whipped with sugar. The casserole stood on the Baking for 35 minutes and then was left on the Heating for 50 minutes (waiting for her family for dinner). Well, it turned out very cool. The hot casserole held its shape firmly, although hot baked in the oven fell apart. Very good baking results. And bakes quickly. Excellent MV.
Nata-sha
Girls, how does the baby food program behave? I have straight boils: crazy: Et so it should be? Cooked porridge rice-millet-corn milk on the dir milk porridge. 5 minutes before the end
I tried it - I didn't seem to cook (the porridge did not run away, but I threw a slap on the lid) I decided to "darken" a little on the children's nutrition, at the same time to try the program, and she gave me THIS with bubbles and splashes! : Then I tried it again with water - and it just boils. This turns out to be a completely different program, not the same as in 01, everything is very calm and quiet there.
Masinen
My porridge was well cooked on the Porridge program, and I did not try baby food either in 02 model or 01 model. But a friend of mine said that at 01 year old baby food does not boil, but puffs.
Nata-sha
Well, I was surprised. At 01, no boiling at all on children's nutrition - no stirring is visible, but here it turns out. that in 02 mode the nutrition is stronger than the pier. porridge, well, or mine has something messed up with programs It's a pity, I really like this mode at 01, I hoped that at 02 it is the same.
Masinen
Today I will try this mode in 02 model and unsubscribe then))
Rick
I have no boiling at 01 on "Baby Food", namely stirring, as Natasha wrote. Or just barely gurgles.
vernisag
Well, REDMOND has a Randmond .... I didn't try to cook on baby food, because I bought it mainly for side dishes, but the rice program confuses me very much, I cook cereals 0, 5 -1 multi-cup and the whole lid is always splattered, everything foams very much. ..
Rick
Irin, are you talking about 01 or about 02?
vernisag
about 02 of course

I also tried barley cooking on Rice. It turned out to be a byaka, and the lid was all dirty. ... Current, I thought that the cartoon is not to blame, but this is such a cereal (the first time I cooked it at all) It looks like the baby is overheating in all programs. Or not? Here they write, yoghurts are produced normally.
And for children. unsubscribe to nutrition, pliz, who uses this program, I think, what if this is my cartoon defective, so I will carry it
vernisag
Well, it may not overheat at all, but Redmond is famous for its "oblique" temperature settings

At first, the rice on my Krupa got dirty on the lid, but I began to rinse it even more thoroughly, the problem was solved. But all the same, half-sticky garbage is obtained even with a 1: 1 ratio. Maybe the time should be set less or try on the express. But since we eat a lot of rice, it is more convenient for me to cook it in large cartoons, and the programs there for rice are better sharpened.
I now use 02 mainly for vegetables (beans for ice cream, etc.) in Bakery, since no one else eats pasture except me, and now I have a diet)))
But the result is already on face on the hips

But not all. Still, at 01, the programs work correctly. I apologize for not being in the subject
madames
Rick! Very much even in the subject. People look and choose, analyze. It is even more interesting in comparison. And we will know which baby to take, nimble 02 or more delicate 01-on our own.

I agree, I love the 01 very much, When I needed a second small cartoon, I chose between, my own, 01 and 02. But I wanted variety and new sensations (so I got them), well, I attracted fast baking at 02. I thought, that 02 is the same 01, but with another mysterious "express" program and more powerful pastries (in short, solid pluses). But in real life, it turned out that so far only baking pleases, well, the exterior is a little.
madames
You know, I was on the 02 side, and now I doubt something. I would like the baby to be quicker, but with brakes. Now deciding what I want is difficult. We will continue to look closely.

And I like both 02 and 01 models) why wait for the untested when there are already two small models.

In no case did I want to alienate anyone from this model. She undoubtedly has many advantages. I just haven't figured out the modes yet. After all, many are happy with her. In general, it seems to me that 02 is not designed entirely for children's dishes. This is more of a country-trip-business trip option (priorities are frying, baking). But 01 - she is more childish, she cooks porridge perfectly and cooks everything neatly, but baking in it is a long history. And yet, these two kids will probably complement each other perfectly. In any case, they look very cute side by side, well, straight angels

So how long to wait for it ... But I want to use it now. I also thought at first, I’ll wait, and 2 months ago I bought a baby and I’m very happy that I didn’t wait. And what is unverified is something for someone, someone to take and cook, and someone is more interesting to test
Nikasa
And in my 02, the coating on the bowl swelled up, and then completely fell off - a round piece of 2-3 mm in diameter. It's a pity, the porridge in the morning turned out great in it .. And the cartoon is only 2 months old. Now I don't know what to cook in it ... You can't cook porridge in a brand of 250 ml of milk - the volume is not the same.
Masinen
Call the Redmond hotline and ask what to do. The bowls have a 12-month warranty, after all.
Masinen
I put water on baby food, I can say that in 12 minutes the water boiled so well)) it boils, boils))
