Ingredients

Dough:
Wheat flour 2 tbsp.
Sugar 2 tbsp.
Egg 8 pcs.
Vanilla
Ammonium 2 tsp
without top
Cream:
Sour cream fat, thick 1 l
Shop sour cream 0,5 l
Sugar 2 tbsp.
Vanillin
Poppy filling:
Poppy 2 tbsp.
Sugar 0.5 tbsp.

Cooking method

  • Dough:
  • Beat eggs and sugar. Add ammonia and flour and stir gently with a spoon. Bake two cakes. Add cocoa to one.
  • Poppy filling:
  • Rinse the poppy seeds, pour boiling water over. Leave to steam for 1-2 hours. Strain, grind in a mortar, add 0.5 cup sugar and grind well again.
  • Cream:
  • Mix sour cream and beat with sugar and vanilla.
  • Assembly:
  • Cut them into equal strips. The width of the strip will be the height of the cake.
  • Smear the cakes with cream. Put the poppy on one side.
  • Twist the strips into a roll, alternating between light and dark stripes and winding one over the other.
  • Set aside some cream, a couple of spoons. Add the melted chocolate bar to the remaining cream. Cover the cake with the resulting cream, from all sides. On the sides, with a fork, apply a pattern imitating the bark of a tree. On top of the previously left white cream, from a pastry bag of a paper cornet or a syringe, apply a pattern in the form of wood cut rings. Well, then - as your fantasy tells you. You can make mushroom legs from cream, and cookie caps.
