Ingredients

Dough:
Wheat flour 5 tbsp.
Sugar 1.5 tbsp.
Margarine 500 g
Eggs 3 pcs.
Soda quenched with vinegar 1 tsp
Vanilla
Cream:
Thick homemade sour cream 1 l
Sugar 2 tbsp.
Milk 1 tbsp.
Vanilla sugar

Cooking method

  • Knead the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Bake two thin cakes of any shape. From the rest of the dough we make balls with filling - nuts, dried apricots, prunes. The smaller the balls and the thinner the dough, the flatter.
  • Shortcake cake

  • If the sour cream is very thick and fatty, add milk to it. Beat sugar and sour cream.
  • Grease the cakes with cream, put the balls on top, alternating the fillings. We cover it all with cream. You can lay out the balls in several layers.

  • The cake should soak for 20-24 hours.
