Herculean pancakes for breakfast

Ingredients

Curdled milk 2 cups (250 ml.)
Sour cream 3-4 tbsp. l.
Chicken eggs 2 pcs.
Wheat flour 1.5 cups
Salt taste
White sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Long-boiled herculean flakes 2 cups
Butter 30-40 grams
Vegetable oil for frying
Orange jam to taste (or maple syrup, other jam)
Blueberry berries to taste or other fresh berries
Drinking soda 1 tsp
Baking powder for the dough 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • In a bowl, mix eggs, sour cream, yogurt, salt, sugar, stir until smooth.
  • Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, mix with a whisk until smooth.
  • Close the bowl with a lid and put the dough in the refrigerator overnight. I have been preparing the dough since the night.
  • We take out the dough, mix, add long-boiled oat flakes, melted butter, mix until smooth. Check the thickness of the pancake dough; if necessary, add a little flour.
  • Leave the bowl to infuse for about 15-20 minutes to warm the dough and soften the flakes.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan until hot, spread the dough with a spoon and fry the pancakes until cooked on both sides. We spread the finished pancakes on a plate.

  • Cooking the sauce: put orange jam in a cup, about 2-3 tbsp. l. top, add a few tbsp. l. hot water and stir until smooth.
  • We spread the pancakes on portioned plates, pour a lot of sweet sauce on top, and sprinkle with fresh berries.

I liked this dough, the fact that it is prepared in the evening, infused with yogurt in the refrigerator, and long-boiled oatmeal is added along with butter before baking.
I didn't have to be smart with the sauce, jam diluted with a drop of boiling water - it turns out great!
And, on a rare occasion, I saw blueberries in a store at a completely ridiculous price, it is impossible to resist!

Long-boiled oatmeal is more solid, dense and gives a structure of density in the dough, the pancakes are looser.
If it bothers you, replace it with small rolled oats, or change the flour-oatmeal ratio. But the pancakes will turn out to be denser then.
