Dessert couscous with dried fruits

Ingredients

couscous 1 glass 200 ml
Orange juice 400 ml
dried fruits taste
butter or olive oil optional

Cooking method

  • Dried fruits (which you like, I have raisins and dried apricots), if desired, chop, pour in orange juice and boil. Pour couscous with hot juice, put a piece of butter (or, if the dish is prepared for a lean table - olive oil, about 1 tablespoon). Let it brew under the lid for 15-20 minutes.
  • The dish is ready!

Note

This aromatic sweet dish is more of a dessert than a porridge in the usual way. Orange juice gives the couscous and sourness, and sweetness, and a pleasant citrus smell, and dried fruits complement this bouquet.
When using vegetable oil in the recipe (or even without it), the dish can be used by those who are fasting.
And I highly recommend it to everyone else as a delicious and quick breakfast.
