  • Let's move on to preparing the pie itself.
  • The dough is prepared in the same way as for Bull's apple, only sugar you need to put only 1 tbsp. l. Sugar-free: your choice.

Zhivchik, preferably fresh or frozen mackerel. We tried it with different fish, but the effect is not the same: salmon is dry, pollock, cod gives a clear fishy smell, but mackerel, both at the price and in taste, is ideal for this pie!

From the height of my experience of communicating with the pie (and this is already 6-8 years old), I can say that this is a universal recipe according to which a pie with mackerel is produced wonderfully (originally which I gave to Lilechka (thanks again for its publication)), in a festive version (I prepared two weeks ago for my birthday ... the Dutch were delighted ...) - with salmon, those who don't eat fish - with chicken fillet !!! (or you just need to cook quickly and be too lazy to fool with fish ... ), but there is another gorgeous recipe - with feta cheese !!! (only reduce the salt, it is salty itself), in the budget version, instead of feta cheese - HOMEMADE cottage cheese !!!, and even more budgetary - this is stewed onion with mushrooms and carrots! !! I hope my tips will help those who do not like fish, want to diversify the table and those who have little money left before their paychecks, and the chill-nickname dangles everything that is needed for a small pie !!!!

bbbbekema When I cooked this pie, I also thought about other fillings - for example, with meat. I admit, I changed the recipe a little when I was cooking - there was no sour cream for the dough, but there was 4% fermented baked milk that was frozen into two fractions, transparent whey and a thick part - I poured it as much as needed, I also forgot to put the dough in the refrigerator - I was probably in a hurry to try it, generally discovered this item later. Here people decide which fish can be used, and so I put fresh herring in the filling and it turned out very well - no one guessed what kind of fish it was. My conclusion is that you can probably use any fish. And in general, thank you and Cradle for this recipe again.

Well .. today guests "suddenly" showed up, warning about their visit 2 hours in advance ... The dough lay in the freezer for 10-15 minutes ... no more .. During this time I managed to fry everything that was in the house (onions, mushrooms and chicken fillet), put everything in the cake + filling + cheese at the end. N: Yes breakfast is nothing ...

Yesterday morning I baked (what an advantage the dough has!) - in the evening we finished it. Delicious! Today I'll try to make it with pink salmon, our city was simply filled up with it! and the fact that it can turn out a little dry - I think so, for the filling mix sour cream with mayonnaise and fry more onion, and everything will be in openwork! This is a delight of the soul, not a cake !!!! Mom and Dad came to visit from the side of her husband - she did for them. Mom gladly took away a small piece in her beak, which we could not master. and I decided that one of these days I will definitely do more.
the dough is so soft, tender, it just melts! by the way, I kneaded it in a bowl with a spoon, and then with my hand - it's not at all difficult to work with such a dough. I did it all the same with mackerel, but cut the salad pepper between the fish and the onion. I just fried onions in bacon.

I have been baking this cake for a long time, that is, I did not find it today, but I was just going to thank it.
Such a good recipe !!!! Made it many times with mackerel; stewed carrots with mushrooms and onions; with chicken - the children liked it very much, and with cheese. I did not add frying with onions to the minced cheese and made a mixture of feta cheese with Adegean 50/50. Otherwise, just like in other cases, she poured the mixture of eggs and 50 * 50 sour cream with mayonnaise, but of course she did not sprinkle it with cheese. It just worked out khachapuri.
For those who store the dough - it darkens for more than 2 days in the refrigerator. Really better to freeze.

I liked the sweet version with apples less. The dough is ideal for savory pies. But this is IMHO.
