The second day in euphoria from his new toy. There she is:

Steam brush

For two weeks I thought to take it or not. I went to the store with my raincoat. Then I thought again, then looked at the brush again and thought again. As a result, I bought it.

Girls, I enjoy this brush like a child. After plugging into an outlet, you can immediately hover. The power is 1500 W, the steam is coming down like mad.

It's awesomely convenient if, for example, you need to bring a crumpled (after washing) knitted blouse into a beautiful view in 1 minute, while soaring from the front side. I have all knitted blouses / sweaters with very narrow sleeves, so ironing my own moments.

Then she quickly steamed the cloak, which crumpled. That's fine too.

In general, there is something to compare with, since I have more than one iron, including with specials. sole pad.

Before that, I wanted to buy a garment steamer in the form of a vacuum cleaner, but I looked at these things and wished very quickly.
This steam brush has three more attachments, but I didn't use them.

Hello to the queens!

already broke her head, what to decide on! initially the problem was born after new curtains: washed, hung up in the hope that everything would "hang", removed after the destruction of hope for this, and even began to iron. BUT one curtain 6 meters wide (not counting 6 meters more, gathered in folds) and 2, 5 long ... I hung it back in 2 minutes, the same non-ironed .. I started looking for other ways, that's how I first heard about steam cleaners. The author, the question is - is it really possible to smooth out my curtains on the weight with such a brush, and - why did you quickly want a steamer in the form of a vacuum cleaner?
Scarlett
Qween Shaw, right for such lazy people (I'm talking about ironing) like me? : crazy: Names, passwords, attendance, prices? ....
Qween
olesya555 , hi! It's good that she called me to the topic!

I don’t even know what to say about your hefty curtain ... See the little water bottle in the brush? 90 ml of water fits there. For example, it was enough to steam a knee-length jacket with high quality. Although, in the process of steaming, I add water instantly, there is such a convenient pouring of water into a container (as in irons). Without turning off the steamer from the mains, I remove the container and add water. In short, adding water is not troublesome at all.

And so yes, it steams by weight, and on the ironing board I only steame with this steamer, because it is MUCH more convenient for me than an iron.

Any knitted blouse I float on the board only on one side. It is not even necessary to turn it over for the second, since the entire blouse is steamed at once through.

I don't want a steamer in the form of a vacuum cleaner after I looked at them. It is also necessary to collect large ones. After reading the reviews, they always write that it spits with water, then some latches seize, then in general people are lazy to soar every time. Well, in general, I have not decided on a vacuum cleaner.

that's how I first heard about steam cleaners.

To be honest, I think a steam cleaner is one thing, but a steamer is another. But, this is not from my experience, but from reviews.

Scarlett, I can't advise on ironing the linen, because only theoretically I know how to iron it. And again, there is a water container for 90 grams of water. I don't know how much water is needed to steam, for example, one bedding set. But, what my brush steamed several layers of fabric at once is yes.

Girls, this brush is only sold at Epicenter. This is their trademark and product. Price 199 UAH.

I want to emphasize that I don't all float vertically. Often, it is very convenient to steam some kind of blouse in its horizontal position. I lay it out on the board (back down) and walk over it once. It turns out awesome, and you don't have to twist it back and forth like when ironing.Especially the sleeves are happy to steam, not iron.

oj, of course, another, the short period of study of the issue affects))), I have a steam cleaner, it has been lying around for 2 years already in the pantry, but for the sake of a curtain I got it ... Yeah, the brush is too small, of course, but not every day the curtains. .. Does it "take" any fabric and any degree of bruising?
Forgive me for asking this, we just don't have such a model here, but there are many others (manual), and there are only 2-3 options for steam smoothing devices, and you can't find reviews

THANK YOU !

No, no, bedding does not interest me, I don’t iron it at all, just blouses-jackets Thank you for such detailed information

Olesya, you sho! Or am I not choosing products myself? As I start to choose, then this is all. And so everything is interesting to me about the chosen product, and so I want not to be mistaken with the choice and, as usual, there are not many reviews. And how often there are a lot of questions, and if I know that someone can already advise in their own experience, then I also write and feel shy, hesitate and write my questions.

Does it "take" any fabric and any degree of bruising?

Well, from what I steamed, it took everything.

You know, there is such a degree of bruising that looks more like creases - this is when you stuff the washing machine so that you have to close it with your feet and hands, then squeeze it well, then dry it, then put it in the closet. And next season you will want to wear such a thing that was once washed, and then, for me personally, my brush came in very handy, as it steamed without question, you don't even need to wet the crumpled thing first.

Quote: Scarlett

exactly blouses-jackets

Blouses, jackets, what we wear every day - the brush copes with this better than an iron. IMHO of course.

Girls, you just know, it's called a brush, and the brush is there only in the attachments. The hovering surface has no brushes. I'll take a picture now.

Here is the brush:

gee gee. Well, if she coped with this, then freshly crushed - one spit, probably! rumor, and I read somewhere on the forum the recommendations of a person selling these devices, he grit, that it's not even so much the power that is important as the amount of steam (in grams) produced per minute, did you have such a mark in the instructions?
Qween
Instruction is powerful! It's more like a note. I'll check.

I found this part in the description of only one brush, well, it is the most expensive of the manual

Dampfausstoß: 15 g / min

And the larger devices already have steam at 30 g per minute, we have sooo little of them, though, and you can't find it in the store, except through the Internet

How long have you been to them indulge are you using?

From March 11th. Before that, I went to the store three times with my clothes and soared there. And before I came and said that I would try the device in action, no one else had tested the steamer. The sellers were very surprised that I wanted to steam, but agreed.

Quote: olesya555

yes, here we are, in few places indicated. and then in the reviews you read that the steam comes out in jerks, does not iron at all and gets wet, how to choose here

In mine, the steam comes out in a uniform, powerful and dry stream. The thing does not get wet.

I steam it when the light is on, then it goes out for a few seconds and when it lights up, you can steam again.

And in the store, for the first time, the seller himself began to hover for the first time and showed me, so he pressed and held without interruption. Then the water leaked strongly onto the thing. I didn't want to buy. Then I came home and I think that something is wrong. After all, water should not drip, maybe you need to give a break for heating. I went back to the store, asked for instructions, and it says about a light bulb. We started to soar with the same steamer (from the showcase), taking into account the light bulb, then the water stopped dripping. The water did not have time to become steam.

I can't, of course, recommend this brush. Can I ask you to steam it yourself in your store?

And my aunt bought some kind of brush - it turned out to be low-power ... I bought myself a large steamer, but not the most expensive smile Unit - full r ... oh bullshit ... While you pour it, heat it up, hang it up, steam it up and steam it yourself ... then you don't want to do it for a long time ...
olesya555
Song , and tell us about sv2, which one did you buy? I'm still inclined that I need a big one, we have 5 children at home and in anticipation of the 6th miracle, so there are a lot of dresses and shirts. Tell me, please, what disadvantages are noticed, if not difficult? and - its technical aspects

In mine, the steam comes out in a uniform, powerful and dry stream. The thing does not get wet.

here is the key to success, as for me! you know, but many people complain that the water is poured out, maybe the reason is that the instructions are quickly read. I will consider for the future, thanks
Song
Yes, I wrote, like ... I have smile unit, I don't like ... to steam only on a hanger, if something spits on the table ... and in general it's kind of confusing, chtoli ... although the thing is steamed well as a result. I don't use it often, only for delicate things ...
That's why I'm reading about the brush ... I like everything to be easy ..., without straining ...

I read exactly the same thing about Toby, and a girl friend bought one with the letter "A". That also says so.

olesya555
it seems to me that they are only intended for vertical ironing, and that is what they sometimes call - a vertical iron.

Song, I just didn't find a smiley vacuum cleaner in Google, but what is its power and steam output?
Qween
At first I really wanted Toby, we had them at ATB at a good price. I already thought to miss it, and then decided to read the reviews at home.

By the way, I did not pay attention to the fact that vacuum cleaners are called vertical irons. And I just wanted to soar both vertically and horizontally.

Duc there are irons with a vertical steaming function, those with a water tank, a steam generator. I read that they also steam well, but, again, I do not know from "my" people, without a guarantee, that is, infa

By the way, I did not pay attention to the fact that vacuum cleaners are called vertical irons.

well yes, here they are, handsome

Qween
Well, yes, I get it, I looked like Toby.

Olesechka, can you look at Kercher?
olesya555
maybe look at Körcher?

Anh, as I understand it, Karcher is primarily a steam cleaner, and there is a nozzle for cleaning textiles, as well as an iron. But I do not need a steam cleaner, my own restless person is lying around, though not a bad thing.
Qween
No, no, I meant that maybe Körcher has a steamer. The fact that a steamer and a steam cleaner are two different things - I know.
olesya555
yeah, I get it. I looked now, there is no separate unit, only as an addition to the steam cleaner, it's a pity, the company is solid, of course

these are the only ones we have

Steam brush

but interestingly, a good iron with a steam generator will cope with my curtains by weight ?!
Lagri
And I recently bought a Fey 858C steam brush, 1000 W power with three nozzles.

A good thing, but I still had to take it to the store, because the handle was leaking from all the cracks and the handle was very hot. I will look for another, more reliable one.
Alenka212
Hello everybody! And I grieve a lot about clothes. I have a disease - to look for universal things, well, to 2in1, 3in1. But after studying the topic, I realized that there are nuances. Here's what I learned. The opinion is combined according to the reviews of housewives.
1. If you need to iron a lot of bed linen well and quickly, as well as nappies, towels, etc., you need to take a steam station (an iron with a steam generator, with a pressure of about 5 bar). With a long cord, you can iron heavy curtains by weight. Karcher with a steam iron is, ironing well, but they say it does not reach the steam station.
2. Large steam generators have wet steam, intended for cleaning surfaces. My chat conversations:
I asked Karcher about the steam cleaner on the website. Here's the answer:

Is it possible to steam hanging clothes (pockets, folds, etc.) with the steam cleaner 1.030V? using an iron or some kind of attachment. When ironing with an iron, does the steam supply need to be fixed or can it be regulated somehow? What is the time from power on to start of work?

09: 26Tatiana Good morning, unfortunately with the help of steam cleaners you can refresh clothes but not steam

What does refresh mean? I do not mean clothes made of linen or pure cotton.

09: 38Tatiana Our steam cleaners do not steam clothes, but you can refresh them from unpleasant odors. For example, you went to a restaurant or cafe where there was a lot of smoke. "When you try to steam, your clothes turn out to be wet, with drops.
3. Garments need dry steam steamers.
Alenka212
But the disease then progresses: not because of greed or stupidity, but rather because of insufficient budget: the household needs a lot of household appliances to facilitate housework, but it is impossible to buy specialized ones. Of course, you can't wash your laundry in a dishwasher and vice versa. But I still want to somehow get out.
Maybe my thoughts (or mistakes, mmm will help someone find what they need). So, considering my needs for cleaning and putting clothes in order, I decided to order I ordered a steam generator-steamer Kromakh with the ability to adjust the steam (conflicting opinions, I'm guessing which camp I will replenish) for cleaning and clothing. Already arrived, but I can't get it (the car broke down on time for a big sum)
And in the future (when I get rich) I will buy a steam station.
In general, new ochucheniya await me. I will report on the use.
marinal
Qween, tell me in which department to look for this wonderful thing. Thank you
kolenko
Today I saw the brushes in the Epicenter on Okruzhnaya on the second floor, where the equipment is. There are two types of them - one like Anechka showed, and the second - with an iron. Didn't figure out the price. One of them - 199 hryvnyas, and the other - 119. Thoughts were preoccupied with small multicooker
Qween
I report:
The brushes are sold in the household appliances department, as Lenochka said. They are located in our epicenter on the side shelves. One like mine costs 199 UAH. And the one with the iron - 119. I didn't like the iron - it has much less power and the sole covering is covered with some kind of metal.
Alenka212
What a bad luck! I rummaged through the entire Internet about the analogue of such a brush. Their maximum power is 1200W at the supra. At 1500 W it is not in this form. : nea: with separate tank only.Maybe overlooked? Who has seen such a powerful one in Russia.
Alenka212
Qween, does your model have an independent steam supply or do you need to press the button constantly? And the water tank is blue, on the handle? What a pity that we do not have such. How convenient it is to take on business trips or on vacation!
Qween
In my brush, you have to press the button so that the steam comes out, and the water tank is blue on the handle.
Alenka212
Thank you, Qween, I will look for an analogue. Well, they used to live as people all together, now they are even the same Chinese goods in Ukraine and Russia are called for some reason differently ?!
Alenka212
Girls, it's time for my first progress report. After long and, as usual, painful thoughts, I bought a steamer-steam cleaner Kromakh 801. Because I wanted a steam generator for cleaning and ironing clothes. I was very worried, as the reviews on its use are conflicting. I don't want to be in the category of those who regretted purchasing it. In order. On the first day, when the box was unpacked, the smell from the plastic parts was still the same. On the second, I hardly felt it. Burr-free extension cords and nozzles (no sanding required). Gather on the locks tightly. There is a slight backlash when you place the barbell in the socket of the device itself to steam clothes. But this is not critical.
I threw him into battle on an atypical task for steam generators: steaming clothes. From the reviews there was hope, but not confidence that he would cope. For the experiment, a dress made of mixed fabric was chosen and (we do not like easy ways) my and children's 100% cotton and children's skirts, dresses, topic, which should not be steamed.
In part of the structure, I could not figure out how clothespins are attached to fasten skirts and trousers. But I felt that it is very convenient to hang a steam gun on the holder in between things. Since I took it not for everyday cleaning, but for Saturdays, such as semi-general (on a normal day I rub it with a rag, and what has not been wiped off until the weekend will survive, anyway no one is at home almost all day), then he lives with me in the collected view in the bathroom, you can even temporarily hang something on it.
It is necessary to adapt to the regulation of the steam supply. With weak steam, light tissues, almost dry, are smoothed. Cotton, of course, needs to soar stronger, things are wetter. But the steaming of a skirt with pockets, drawstring and elastic bands, which I always put on the board when ironing with an iron, holding the elastic in a stretched state with my knee, impressed me.
She poured not 2 liters of water, but about 1, so I warmed up less. In addition, you can fill in and do something else for now (there is always enough work).
Probably the quality of ironing is not comparable with a steam station, there is a slight bruise on some cotton things (the result depends on their quality), but if you get into the car in the morning in ironed clothes, then the result is identical upon leaving it. I will continue to experiment further. Dilution of dirt in the kitchen and on the windows should be done on weekends. The husband demands to steam the sofa (he suspects dust mites there).
P / S / when I was driving home, it was 33 degrees in the shade. It was thought that the weather was not the best for experiments with steaming. But nothing, it is quite possible to live next to him. A hand in a special mitten sweats more.
irysska
And I, and I with such a steam brush already
Steam brush

I am satisfied with the operation of the brush. And the power of 1.5 kW is still - it doesn't spit water (the main thing is to wait until the red indicator light goes out) The brush itself is heavy - it creates a feeling of solidity. It is comfortable in the hand
And most importantly, you can hover horizontally. And the thing is not wet after ironing.
The set includes a travel case and a cup for pouring water.

The photo shows 3 nozzles - the upper one for upholstery, the middle one - it is written in the instructions "for wool" - but the instructions in Ukrainian, how to understand for wool, I don't know - an ordinary brush, and the bottom one is a clothespin - why am I so far I did not understand either - and the instruction is mysteriously silent about this

Water tank - 95 ml (there is a maximum mark on the glass, so pouring water is easier than ever).
