So you fried it right in the bowl, not steamed? This is the most active program in Radish, it is good to fry on it. Temperature directly on the heating element up to 180. In the bowl ~ 120-130C. Measured with an infrared thermometer.

Modes in descending order of temperature (from highest to lowest):
1. For a couple
2. Rice / Cereals (the first 15 minutes gradually and slowly raises the temperature, then active boiling - evaporates the water)
3. Baking (also gradually raises the temperature for 15 minutes, then heats up). On ten (not in a bowl, but under the bowl) 158-160. I could not measure in the bowl yet, because it is usually occupied there
4. Soup / Stewing - water boils with a confident gurgle, without water at the bottom of 105-115C. On the heating element 135-138.
5. Milk porridge - brings almost to a boil 97C, then 93-95C
6. Baby food ~ 93C stable
7. Yogurt (I didn't measure the temperature, because I do it in another cartoon)
Heating (Heat button) - water in a bowl 63-67C, directly at the bottom of an empty bowl 76-81, walls 72C.

I am not happy about the over-grown price of this baby. I don't really know what to do. I really want a baby, but the choice is essentially only two: binaton and redmond. And their prices. Mamadaragaya! I really want Brand to release something similar, but at an attractive price

I studied the instructions. I don't even know how to perceive all this (I changed the first message, posted some scans of the instructions). The multicooker has NO SENSOR modes at all. Even "Rice" and that can be independently adjusted by time. The manufacturer himself cannot determine the purpose of the "Baby food" mode.

If compare Redmond RMC-01 with Binatone MUC-2116, that is, there are two fundamental differences:
1. At Redmond RMC-01 bowl "honeycomb", the Binatone MUC-2116 bowl has a smooth surface
Multicooker Redmond RMC-01 Multicooker Redmond RMC-01
And of course, bottom relief is very different: Redmond RMC-01 has a more rounded, sloping bottom, while Binatone MUC-2116 has a flat, more straight bottom, which is important for baking
2. Redmond RMC-01 does not touch modes, Binatone MUC-2116 has almost all touch modes with the exception of the "Soup" and "Yogurt" modes.
Well, one more difference - volume: for Redmond RMC-01, a bowl for 2 liters (up to a mark of approx. 1.2 liters), for Binatone MUC-2116 - for 1.6 liters (up to a mark of a max of approx. 1 liter).
And there is still a difference in steamers:
Redmond RMC-01 has a hinged steam basket, Binatone MUC-2116 has a steam rack (bottom steamer) with large holes (as Irisha suggested-Vernissage, for boiling eggs).
Multicooker Redmond RMC-01 Multicooker Redmond RMC-01
There is one more difference - power Redmond RMC-01 for 2L has a power consumption of 350W, for Binatone MUC-2116 for 1.6L - 430W.

Well, one more difference - control Panel: Redmond RMC-01 has ordinary buttons (electronic control), Binatone MUC-2116 has a touch panel.

Another difference, I think, for many may turn out to be significant, is dimensions (WxHxD): Redmond RMC-01 - 22x21x26, Binatone MUC-2116 - 23x23x30 cm.That is, Redmond RMC-01 has less space on the tabletop than Binatone MUC-2116.

There is one more difference - heating after the "Yogurt" mode: after the "Yogurt" mode Redmond RMC-01 DOES NOT switch to Heating, and for Binatone MUC-2116 after the "Yogurt" mode heating turns on... Binatone MUC-2116 also DOES NOT turn on the heating after the "Yogurt" mode!

Girls, well, how is it connected with the child? The fact that Redmond decided that the baby should be for baby food, only did not decide what to cook in this mode

Cheating binatosha is more attractive to me with a bowl, a double boiler, modes. Still, touch modes are more convenient than adjustable ones ... Yes?

Nirinka, So why are we sitting and silent for two months?
No, I am not silent! I already wrote somewhere. Well, I bought her current for cereals, so I only cook them in it, since we don't need much for two. I love to look at the baby, she is so beautiful! And the porridge in it is awesome, such in my Panasonic did not work. And the rest is in "adult" saucepans. In general, I love the pressure cooker more than the cartoon lately, I have it already of retirement age, however, Unit 1000 and the saucepan became inferior, but still my favorite. Here I sit waiting for a new one from Brand.

Nirinka, and what kind of porridge is milk, can you get more details from what, on what mode, for how long, proportions, volumes? And why is it better than Panasik's?

Very, very interesting ... I'm looking forward to it!
Manna
On another forum I read that the "Yogurt" mode does not work correctly (for two girls, exactly, can anyone else?), An "E2" error appears, the designation of which is not in the instructions

I also found about E2:
Quote: mar_k from the "multicooker"
making yogurt! Faced error E2. As a result, it turned out that it was impossible to pour cold food into it - a low-power thermal sensor could not cope !!!! It was I who poured milk from the refrigerator and yogurt and put it on the program with the thought that it would still heat up, but it was not there! The milk warmed up to room temperature and the error blinked, set the program again! CONCLUSION: you cannot immediately throw food into the MV from the refrigerator, they must warm up

And others succeed in this mode, and even the "Baby food" mode for languishing milk has been adapted:
Quote: Dumpling from the "slow cooker"
made sour cream in a jar on the program "yogurt" from 20% cream and the remains of store sour cream. It worked, but it took 10-11 hours: (I made baked milk on the "baby food" program (4 hours, 500 ml of milk). I will cool it down and make fermented baked milk tomorrow.

Nirinka, and what kind of porridge is milk, can you get more details from what, on what mode, for how long, proportions, volumes? And why is it better than Panasik's?

Very, very interesting ... I'm looking forward to it!

I cook porridge on "Milk porridge" I pour 1.5 cups of water and milk for half a glass of cereal, a little salt, sugar and butter. I bet it cook for 1.5 hours and stay heated for 4-5 hours. This is rice, millet, corn and spelled, more flakes of "6 cereals" - I cook these for 30 minutes. It turns out the porridge, which I love, melted and stewed))). The baby's temperature on heating is higher than that of the panasonic, the porridge is hot, and not barely lukewarm. In any case, in my Panaska, on "Milk Porridge" I did not cook porridge, it turned out some kind of milk soup with raw cereals, then I had to cook it by hand, that is, you couldn't put it overnight. (((I also like that in you can heat food with it, and quite quickly, despite the low power. I tried to fry the frying for spelled pilaf on Steam, it turns off after 10 minutes, I must probably try on another mode. Well, I kind of wrote everything I did. Somehow. If what - ask, I'll find out with pleasure.
vishnevaia
Girls, in the photo I have rice-millet porridge (see the message just above from manna), crushed rice, common millet. I usually take 450-500 ml of liquid (milk + water) for half a glass (up to the 80ml mark) of cereal. I used to cook porridge in Redmond 4502 in about 35 minutes and M10 in 33 minutes (by default) - everything was cooked. Therefore, in the baby, instead of 30 minutes by default, I also set 35 minutes - the porridge was cooked. There was a little milk before mixing, but after mixing, the consistency was excellent.
About the MV itself:
bowl - total volume 2 liters, useful volume 1.3 liters.
steam basket: bottom diameter 15 cm, height 3.5 cm tidy, but sausages fit
The RMC-01 does not have touch programs, but you can turn off the auto heating in advance on any program (by pressing the Start button again)

And so it happened - the multicooker REDMOND RMC - 01 came home. Such a malipuska compared to the older 'brother'.I am happy as a child with a long-awaited toy like it or not, but the eye and the brain immediately began to compare what and how. Here's if someone can help some comparison with 4502:
0. A total of 7 automatic programs, with the additional ability to set the desired cooking time. rice / cereal + yogurt + steam + milk porridge + baby food + baked goods. The emphasis is on baby food, many recipes and there is a pasteurization function
1.what caught my eye was the quality of the plastic - at 01 it is better, it seems to me more flawed, thicker, of course it can and new technologies create such an impression
2. No half for the current time, who cares
3. Compact and light enough compared to MV Toshiba (it is lower and longer, and due to the bowl made of thicker metal it is heavy)
4. The valve is more thoughtful in my opinion, consists of 2 parts (I inserted one into the other and that's it and you're not afraid that the silicone pimp will pop out and lost during washing)
5. The rim of the inner cover is more springy and not so thin
6. The bowl is ceramic, quite heavy, I don't know how these properties affect cooking, the only coating may last longer, since I have not seen additional bowls on sale yet. (although my stainless steel bowl with a diameter of 16 went very well)
7. The heating element is concave, and the large MW is even, and the gap between the body and the NE is large, if something falls, then how to get it
8. A very necessary function is present - heating shutdown!
9. There are no forceps, albeit not very convenient for removing the bowl of their MV
10. Oddly enough the paddle and the colonel are longer than that of their brother, from 4502 spoons this small bowl is included and it can be closed without any problems, well, this is just in case so as not to lose it during transportation somewhere!

Quote: Mar_k

On page 120, I wrote about the baby when she was brought in, compared it with the big one, I will not repeat myself, say now from the experience of her operation. Having operated for 2 months, and it feels like all my life. The dimensions are such a diameter of 16.5 cm and a height of 10 cm.The useful volume for soup, compote is about 1.7-1.8 liters, and then if it is preparing for the 'Baby food' function, the water does not boil on this function as in the 'Soup or Stew' function but as if languishing, now I cook soups in it for 5 mouths (2 adults and 3 children of different ages), but this is for 1 meal. I cooked porridge for 1 liter of milk and a mug of water - they never ran away !!!! Even the lid was not stained !!! Side dishes (there is a special 'Rice / cereal' function), just right! Now I use the big one less often, mainly on weekends or compote, cook stew. The oven did not bake, everything is in a big one, since it will not be enough for us!
I make yoghurts right in this bowl, and then put them in jars. Fell in love with her very much !!!!
Mar_k
Quote: manna

The manufacturer himself cannot determine the purpose of the "Baby food" mode.

I will say about this mode, or rather I repeat, it is better to cook soups, compotes, the water does not gurgle like during normal cooking and the "Soup" mode, but languishes, so the capacity is greater.

Regarding yoghurts: if you make it with a pharmacy sourdough, then you need to turn on the full cooking mode for 8 hours, otherwise you won't get ready, since these cartoons do not have the function of a 'thermos', that is, they practically do not hold heat, it cools quickly, but this is in comparison with a large 4502. And if you make yoghurt from store yoghurt, then I still put it on for 4 hours, and then there is still an unplugged hour 4. That is, the heat keeps no more than 4-5 hours. And in the big one I make it out of a magician: 1 hour on a multi-cooker 40 g and then it's night, I open it and take it out still warm.

The girls, today I tried the baby Redmond RMC-01, made their favorite porridge from long-boiled oatmeal with strawberries.
The cooking time is only 30 minutes - the result is pleasing. I cooked a portion of porridge in water for 1/2 measuring cup of rolled oats and 2.5 cups of water, the rest is strawberry juice.

How much porridge is in the photo?

In the photo, the volume is slightly larger than a glass. For 1/2 cup of rolled oats, two small portions of porridge turned out - what you need For this I bought the baby.

Bowl for a total volume of 2 liters, even less useful. The photo shows half the filling of the bowl.

In finished form, it turned out to be about half a saucepan (a little less), for 2 normal servings.

I also like hercules on water with strawberries or apricots more, I have stocks of fruit in the freezer since summer, especially for winter cereals

Does anyone know how it behaves during power outages or power surges?
Mar_k
Yes, on the official website of redmond (multicooker.pro) - 2999 rubles.

Regarding the drop or power outage: if it turns off (accidentally disconnected from the network) and then turn it on, then work will resume from where it was turned off. True, we did not experience how long a given mode is stored in memory!

Here is the casserole "FOR BREAKFAST"

First we look at the pictures

1.immediately after baking. Time in the multicooker 1.20

Multicooker Redmond RMC-01

2.took it out along with the saucepan and let it stand under a towel for 15 minutes, the casserole did not settle at all

Multicooker Redmond RMC-01

3. put it on a plate "pop up", the top is moderately (bottom) browned, the height of the casserole is about 5 cm. I took the recipe from the attached recipe book, but changed it a little in my own way))

4. slicing. I bent a little, because I did not let the casserole cool down)) I cooked for breakfast

Multicooker Redmond RMC-01

Overall rating: liked it!
Delicate and soft structure, juicy, does not fall off!

Judging and evaluating that this model intended for children and their food, and a power of 350 watts. then the multicooker coped well with the baking.

I like it! Delicate oatmeal porridge and tender casserole.

Next comes debriefing - I'm listening

In order not to come off, I give the casserole recipe here:

Cottage cheese - 300-350 grams
eggs - 3 pcs.
sugar - 4 tbsp. l. with top - to taste
semolina - 50 grams
kefir - 100 ml.
baking powder - 1/2 tsp.
raisins - a handful

Soaked semolina with kefir overnight.
in the morning I mixed eggs, semolina with kefir, salt, sugar until smooth.
added cottage cheese, baking powder, beat with a mixer until smooth.
poured into a saucepan, sprinkled with raisins on top.
baking time 1.20

Bon Appetit!

What a good-looking, delicious, the color is (not overcooked) beautiful! And after the end of the program, did you take it out immediately? And I’m looking at something, I’m looking at a black bowl or something, not brown? Admin thank you very much for the casserole report, I look forward to the next reviews!
Admin
Ira, yes - right after the signal she took out a saucepan and on the table under a towel. Not disgraced!

The saucepan glows black, and so it has a brown tint - and SMALL !!!!!

Casseroles turned out to be 4 normal portions, eat just in moderation!

Yes, I bought a saucepan for baby food for morning porridge for 2 servings, so I have no complaints.

Thank you! Wow, I usually keep all the casseroles under a closed lid for another 30-40-60 minutes ... Great, in general, well, and probably the recipe is still good. And how many cottage cheese is 200-250 grams in it?

Admin, do you think such a baby can become a full-fledged multicooker for 1-2 people? Or is she missing something?

I can't say anything yet, I only cooked 2 dishes and then for breakfast - I liked it.

Recipe book for 160 pieces, including baby food (a recipe for casseroles just from baby food), family meals, meats, soups, desserts and so on ...
On other sites I read reviews of what they cook for the whole family, in the sense of meat fish dishes for the whole family.

I can’t say anything yet, I’ll try again, while I like the saucepan

Why not! Soup for 2 adults and 3 children is enough to eat once, a side dish (buckwheat rice) is also a portion! 4 cutlets will enter the steamer, but sideways, and 3 will lie
I cooked meat - a piece of beef - it was cooked in 1 hour!
True, I did not cook serious dishes in it, since there is a big one! Somehow like this!
The only cooking time is longer than that of fellows. The 1 page video shows 2 hours of cooking a stew with meat - but it's worth checking out!
