Sesame paste with honey

Ingredients

Sesame paste (tahini, tahini) 2-3 parts
Liquid honey 1 part

Cooking method

  • Who has a question - what to do with baked bread?
  • I - have a wonderful answer - smear them with such a paste and gobble them up with tea!
  • Sesame is a terribly useful thing!
  • And it's nice for your teeth - it's not for you to gnaw sesame kozinaki.
  • Take sesame paste and mix well in a jar.
  • And only then we measure out the desired amount.
  • Mix with honey.
  • The ratio is 3: 1 - this is moderately sweet, so as not to stick together, those who wish can try 1 to 1.
  • Cut off a piece of fresh warm white bread, spread and with hot tea!
  • ________________________ _____
  • I took pasta Achva Tahini - very, very tasty!
  • Made in Israel, 500 g
  • Quantity per 100 gr:
  • Proteins - 22 grams !!!
  • Calcium - 213 mg
  • Iron - 5 mg
  • Sodium - 165 mg
  • Sesame paste with honey
  • ________________________ _____
  • How to make sesame paste yourself:
  • - sesame seeds - 100 gr
  • - odorless oil - 35-40 ml (more is possible - ideally as much as the paste will take)
  • You don't need butter, but vegetable, for example, refined sunflower can be taken.
  • ________________________ _____
  • Sesame must be tasted - it should not be bitter, otherwise the whole paste will be bitter.
  • You can also use sesame or walnut oil, but it's best to start with neutral oil the first time.
  • 1. Lightly dry the sesame seeds in the oven on a baking sheet for 8-10 minutes at 120 C, shaking occasionally.
  • They should be slightly gilded, but not much - sesame seeds cannot be burned!
  • 2. Pour the sesame seeds into a blender container and beat, gradually adding butter, until smooth, homogeneous, creamy.
  • The finished pasta looks like a thick, viscous sour cream.
  • We transfer to a jar and close tightly.
  • It is better to store in the refrigerator and stir thoroughly before each use, as the thick part settles at the bottom.
  • I did it myself a couple of times and I can say that the purchased one is still softer in consistency.

Note

Sesame seeds

Back in 1500 BC, sesame was not only known to the Egyptians, but also widely used as a medicine.

The correct name for a tropical herb that produces healthy and tasty seeds is Sesamum indicum (sesame). Ripe sesame pods open with a loud click at the slightest touch. Apparently, the famous phrase of Ali Baba "Sesame, open up!" has something to do with the wealth hidden inside the sesame pod.

Sesame seeds composition

Sesame seeds are good for the whole body!
Sesame contains 25% of the protein required for tissue repair and growth.
Zinc, calcium, copper, iron, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium, vitamins A, E and group B contained in sesame seeds are essential in many metabolic processes in the body.
The seeds of almost all plants contain substances used as a source of growth in the first phase of a young plant's life.

Sesame seeds contain a lot of fatty oil - about 50-60%, with sesamin (chloroform) and sesamolin, which are converted into sesamol and sesaminol - phenolic antioxidants during the refining process. Therefore, the oil obtained from sesame seeds is equivalent to other vegetable oils, if you do not take into account the fact that there is little vitamin E in it, and there is no vitamin A in sesame oil at all.

The benefits and properties of sesame seeds

The main benefits of sesame seeds are their high content of anti-aging vitamin E and calcium.
Zinc and phosphorus are involved in the construction of bone tissue, so their presence in the composition of sesame seeds classifies them as agents that help prevent osteoporosis.
The daily calcium requirement can be met with 100 grams of sesame seeds.

The high fiber content of sesame seeds prevents digestive system diseases as it promotes regular bowel function. Healthy polyunsaturated fats lower blood cholesterol levels.

Sesame seeds, like the oil obtained from it, are powerful antioxidants and help the body fight cancer cells.

Sesame seeds deteriorate quite quickly - this is due to their high oil content.
Sesame oil itself is stored for a long time.
The oil obtained from sesame seeds perfectly cleanses the entire body and removes harmful metabolic products from it.

Sesame has a mild laxative effect and the ability to moisturize the intestines.
However, the calorie content of radiant sesame seed is 582 kilocalories, which is quite a lot. Therefore, it should be consumed in small quantities. And use something less high in calories as a laxative.

I also love this ... also with walnuts (you can also grind them into a paste)

After harvesting, the sesame seeds are dried in the sun (like flax). The boxes should dry and open before the rains start. Otherwise, the crop can get wet and disappear. Here are the peasants and repeat constantly, like a spell: "open until the season, open until the season."
My husband asks for sesame paste mixed with grape syrup for every breakfast, and I love this mixture
julifera
They also make it with date syrup, but we don't have it on sale.

"But I adore her more than he, that's why he asks her for every breakfast, and asks, and asks ..."
No offense! Shutka!
Erhan
Not guessing, I periodically try to "forget" to make the mixture, but my husband is alert and always asks: "tahin-pekmez yok?" And I don't have them "yok"
In general, sesame paste is a thing. I put it in bread and in muffins, buns and rolls, grease it (tahina-sugar-nuts). I probably lack sesame in my body

Easily assimilated calcium and, of course, vitamin E

Oh, I forgot about the squirrels ... there is already 1/4 squirrel

But I wonder if sugar interferes with the absorption of calcium from sesame seeds? After all, we usually use tahini paste with something sweet - honey, syrup, sugar ...
Manna
Natural sweets (dried fruits, honey) definitely do not interfere, but sugar and sugar syrups ... this is not a "healthy kitchen" vapish

But I wonder if sugar interferes with the absorption of calcium from sesame seeds? After all, we usually use tahini paste with something sweet - honey, syrup, sugar ...

I met the following on the internet:

Consumption of large amounts of sugar - when dissolved in the stomach, it interferes with the absorption of calcium, disrupts phosphorus-calcium metabolism.
Milk sugar - lactose - significantly increases the absorption of calcium.

So it is useful to drink pasta sandwiches not with tea, but with milk

In general - natural honey always contains enzymes bees, which help the good absorption of nutrients.
That is, if the syrups are still in question, then honey does not cause worries on this topic

My mother-in-law cooks it herself, without added sugar, from her own grapes grown in Cappadocia.

julifera!!! Thank you so much !!! I love tahini halva, I always bought it in such small packs (Lada, we call it). But some time ago, peanuts began to be added to it, then more and more, eventually the taste of peanuts completely overwhelmed the sesame. I began to look elsewhere, bought expensive jars, at the market where nuts are sold. Everything is not right, absolutely, there are a lot of additives, the taste of sesame is supplanted. And here's your recipe !!! I made the pasta first (I didn't find tahini paste in our stores, it's a pity), and then I added it to some of the honey. : crazy: Everything, I was gone, no more sweets do not need: wow: THANKS! - in general, the most, most sincere and kind bows !!!

Pysy ... and this morning I added only one teaspoon to the oatmeal porridge - - pestnya

I mix in a ratio of 1.5 hours of pasta to 1 part of honey and add vanilla. I love it very much.
By the way, the DJ did sesame halva with milk, and I'm also from black sesame, but the usual, from pasta with honey I like more.

I buy it in the "Barberry" store, these are oriental and Indian goods and spices. There are probably similar stores in Moscow. There is also a Gourmet Globe, but it is more expensive there.

Still so delicious: The gift of mountainous Dagestan is a unique product urbech... In the Middle East, this sesame paste is called tahina (tahina). It is used as a base for many popular oriental dishes and is added to baked goods. Has a healing effect.
