Ingredients

Puff pastry, ready-made or homemade 500 gr.
Filling:
Chicken breast fillet 2 pcs.
Large champignons 4 things.
Onion 1 PC.
Salt, pepper, herbs
Cream or natural yoghurt 1-2 tbsp. l.
For the egg chatterbox:
Egg 1 PC.
The water is cold 1 tbsp. l.
Sesame seeds for decoration

Cooking method

  • Cooking the filling:
  • My breast was already boiled. But you can use baked chicken breast or grilled chicken. in a word, any ready-made chicken breast.
  • Peel the champignons. Cut into slices and fry with half rings of onion until mushrooms are cooked. Cool down.
  • Grind breast fillets and mushrooms with a meat grinder or blender. Season with salt and pepper to taste and add cream or yogurt.
  • Puff pastry snails with chicken breast pate with mushrooms
  • We sculpt "snails":
  • Defrost the finished dough at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
  • Roll out the dough into a layer 2-3 mm thick. Cut into rectangles 40 x 15 cm.
  • Spread the pate on the dough piece with a thin layer, leaving a free 1/3 part. (You can sprinkle with chopped herbs)

  • Roll up sausage roll. (For better adhesion, I smeared the free edge of the dough with an egg chatter.)

  • Transfer the snails to a baking sheet with lined baking paper.
  • Distance covered with a towel, 10-15 minutes.
  • In the meantime, heat the oven to 180-200 * C.

This is another version of the delicious and non-staining baked goods made from store-bought puff pastry.
When my family doesn't know "what to eat," we walk to the nearest private bakery. And there, having seen something tasty, we perform at home. So this time, a trip a couple of days ago to this bakery, resulted in such "snails". Delicious. Hearty. The filling tastes more like a liver. But not a simple one, but which I ate as a child, back in the 80s, bought in Simferopol. Since then, I do not recognize another Lever. But today, unwittingly, I remembered the taste of childhood.
