Ingredients

Cabbage 1 kg
Carrot 500 gr.
Onion 250 gr.
Tomato (I have frozen tomatoes) 1 tbsp. l. (handful)
Garlic 1 clove
Salt, pepper, bay leaves, fresh herbs taste
Dry herbs (celery, parsley, dill, green onions) by a pinch
Vegetable and olive oil
Sugar 0.5 tsp

Cooking method

  • Ratio of cabbage: carrot: onion = 4: 2: 1
  • 1. Cut the cabbage into long strips. Grate the carrots as a "Korean carrot" snack. Cut the onion in half and chop along the scales.
  • 2. Pour oil (1 tablespoon vegetable oil and 0.5 tablespoons olive oil) into the bowl of the pressure cooker. Turn on the Fry-Chicken mode, set the time to 45 minutes. Warm up the oil for a couple of minutes.
  • 3. Put chopped onion into the heated oil. Put it out until transparent - 3-4 minutes.

  • 4. Place the carrots. Fry the carrots until soft - 7-8 minutes.

  • 5. Add cabbage. There are quite a lot of cabbage, and the diameter of the bowl is small. Therefore, we do the laying of cabbage in two steps. So a lot of liquid will not stand out from the cabbage, and it will not fry much. We continue to fry periodically, gently turning the vegetables over - 10 minutes.

  • 6. Put the tomato in the bowl (I have frozen tomatoes). Add dry herbs. And a small piece of bay leaf.

  • 7. 5 minutes before the end of the program add salt and pepper to taste, add sugar. Add chopped garlic so that it does not end up in the bottom of the bowl, but in the vegetables. That is, we need it to warm up, give the dish aroma, become soft itself, but not burn.
  • After the signal, add fresh chopped herbs and can be served.

This is my favorite kale cooking option. The husband loves stewed with broth more. And I like it without, and so that the cabbage can be felt with the tooth.
