Cooking method

  • If you don't have any ingredient, change to your taste; no olive oil, use sesame or vegetable oil.
  • Instead of rice vinegar, ordinary table vinegar 3-6% is suitable, but then it is better to add half a teaspoon of sugar to soften its harshness.
  • I used raw peanuts, but you can use roasted or salted ones.
  • For cooking, we also need sticks, if they were not found in the house either, we use pencils or pens, thin twigs are suitable in the country.
  • Let's get started: cut off the ends from the cucumber, cut the peel in the form of a "zebra". Cut the cucumber into slices about 3-4 cm thick. Take one and place it on its side between two sticks. Cut into thin strips (sticks will not allow you to cut it to the end). Now, having turned the piece around its axis by 90 degrees, we turn it over with a cut so that the cuts are below and parallel to the sticks. Chinese cucumbersCut the remaining slices in the same way. The advantage of such an unusual cutting is that the cucumber pieces, keeping their shape well, are quickly and well soaked in the dressing. Place the sliced ​​cucumbers in a cup. Salt, pour oil and soy sauce. Cut into coarsely chopped parsley. Put the peanuts in a bag and crush them with a rolling pin (so that there are not large pieces). Add the crushed peanuts to the cucumbers, mix everything and set to marinate in the refrigerator (at least 30 minutes, maximum 6 hours). Bon Appetit!
