Cooking method

  • The proportions are shown, although I did this mini version for testing. Rice vinegar can be replaced with another one - apple, wine, table vinegar, but then you need to put it less - 1 teaspoon.
  • Many people like to add peeled cucumbers to the salad. And throw out the peel, but in vain, thrifty Chinese cooks came up with pickling cucumber skin.
  • So we peel the skin (it is better to use a vegetable peeler for this so that the strips are thin and long). Put sugar, vinegar in a container, mix everything and add the peel. We put in the refrigerator to marinate for a day. Since the marinade does not completely cover the skin, it is a good idea to stir it at least once.
