In TV shops it is better, judging by mine for 56 grams, it cuts everything only soft (I will say that it cuts superbly), but they do not want to cut onions and cucumbers, no matter how thin the pieces are, and TV shops cut everything well ... here, and choose.

Today I cut both cucumbers and onions ... everything was cut ... only for large grid, I have now generally calmed down, although I got used to cutting cucumbers on a grater into cubes

I also have a similar design, only not manual, but the mechanics I bought for raw potatoes, of course I suffered for one day and decided that I would make the cubes by hand faster and smaller I love (the Decok device that cuts the potatoes not down but forward, the knives seemed to be sharp, they probably would have cut the mushrooms, I just would not recommend it to anyone, too much a nautical design (to collect and wash potatoes, put it back and forth, nonsense is shorter), its only excuse was, my hopes that I would evenly cut a frying pan of potatoes quickly as from a machine gun on the count of one or two, but in the end I hid it away so that my eyes would not be callous and from time to time I think it can break and remove the grate and cut it by hand to the table ...
Today I just fried potatoes, for slicing I always use Decok for potatoes. I really like it, fast and easy.

Only, it turns out that TVshop sells fakes ...

Thank you, I have not only found that (on your tip), I have already brought ND home myself. I sit and dismantle. I have a fake, because there is no division on the cups. But I realized that if I ordered through TVshop, I would get the same thing, but more expensive.
In short, I'm sitting happy like an elephant !!!

I have no division on the cups either. This does not prevent me from successfully using my ND for two years ... Are you sure that the original should have divisions?

In the post where the author claims this, it is also written that both the original and the fake are China. I don't agree with that either. You probably don't have a Chinese Nayser. And the Europeans who sell their Nicers on ebay, I think, also hardly China, and hardly a fake.
And I have divisions, but it is quite possible that they began to be made on later Nysers, isn't it? It seems to me that if Nayser passes the bow test, you can assign him the title of the original.

Hairpin, with the purchase of you! And you huge Olivier basins!
Caprice
I don’t know if I have the original or not, but I chop onions with it and potatoes for chips ... And the cups do not break when dropped. I think that if it performs the functions I need, then it doesn't matter if it is original or a fake ... Still, two years of using it is something, isn't it? Once I was told that the original is a gift for a potato cleaner. Mine was not.
Freken Bock
Nope, a peeler is also faked as a gift. If your device can cope with any load, honor and praise it. It doesn't matter at all whether it is original or not, as for me. It's just that the mass of fakes, whose blades bend, containers break, and they just don't cut, finally. I said already above that before that I had a completely left Nayser, the large container cracked during the first use, and the small one simply did not fix, it dangled. But he cut - super. Now mom is happy.

Nobody uses the Nayser-Dicer analog that is sold in the Firebird called Alligator? It would be interesting to know how it is in terms of quality, and what is better.

I do not know whether I have a fake Nayser or not (I bought it at an exhibition in Crocus) when trying to cut something hard and raw, the fine grate slightly "separated". It was possible to insert, but now the hard cuts with difficulty and can jump out. I also bought an Alligator. At Nisser, the containers are better fixed (they are slightly screwed on) and do not fall off. You need to cut with a quick press like a hole punch for paper, and the Alligator has a weak mount, you have to hold the container.
IMHO: The alligator cuts better, in any case, after six months of intensive use, the fine grate has never "figured out" (raw potatoes, onions without problems, small pieces of raw carrots, small raw beets). The large grate cuts well for everyone.
Boiled vegetable salads, vinaigrettes, fruit salads, fried onions, potatoes for soup, carrots - easy and quick. I like.

For the New Year, my daughter and son-in-law gave me the same toy, Nyser Diser, they wrote it out through the Tele-shop. There are no pretensions, I'm very happy. It cuts everything perfectly, now I can't do without it. And before I did not believe these advertisements, they did not deceive!

and I had the same problem with Niser, I was very happy, and now I'm so sorry - every time I cut something with little effort - it jumps off

I use it regularly (several times a week) for a year and a half. No problem, it cuts everything I put. I have a metal body, but the knives, as I understand it, are the same. Boxing was thwarted only once when it overflowed.

If you buy a bow holder and you have a choice, buy TESKOMA, not Fakelman (the pictures above have both, TESKOMA at Crumbs, it has a handle). The thing is the most convenient, but I realized this only when I began to use Teskomovsky.

And let us show you - it's better to see once ...
It is very convenient, the onion is cut finely, does not fall apart, and most importantly quickly, you do not have time to cry.

I also have different "bow holders" and onions, but I 100% support the idea that there is nothing better than Berner - instantly, subtly, and if you put it in the tray, you practically do not have time to cry. And for plastic bags, I both at home and in the country hung up such cute doll-covers:

My electric mandolina slicer is called the "electrical mandolina slicer" by Bimatek. I even went to the link somewhere and saw its ad, but I bought it by accident and spontaneously. I can report the following: everything is wrong in advertising! There she cuts only slices, in fact, she cuts into cubes and cubes (both on fries and smaller ones), and just rubs, and even has to shave off the ice. I won't lie about ice - I haven't tried it. But the impressions must be said in two ways. She does everything not bad, but not very comfortable and wash a lot of parts, but we don’t like that! But if you make borscht or something else where you need to cut or rub a lot, for example, a herring under a fur coat, then it even justifies itself very much! In any case, borscht in the cartoon with its help ..... In short, this is freedom !!!!!!!!

I don't really like carrots on the Berner for "Kareysky" planing, they are short and thin. Therefore, I use this contraption:

This Korean cut was torturous: so many adaptations, and all do not work well. How does the knife cut? have a complaint?
Aunt Besya
The knife is sharp, it cuts well, but there is still waste, because when you drag along the carrot, the middle is cut more. Or maybe I'm just a cross-handed and press harder in the middle ???
Caprice
And I liked Berner more to plan carrots for Korean carrots. Less waste and safer for your hands thanks to the holder and faster. In order for the strips to be longer in Berner, you need to choose the optimal angle of inclination of the root crop in relation to the grater. True, in recent years I have become lazy and rubbed the carrots with a food processor grater or mandolin. My men don't care how it looks, the main thing is what it tastes like.

I had a Chinese nayser (that's really a waste of money), I sent him to the garden after I saw and bought an Alligator (even two, there is also a small "crocodile" Alligator-mini with 2x2 cells, how easy it is to cut radishes into okroshka!). No comparison, like heaven and earth! Swedish workmanship - the quality of both cutting and washing is just super.

I recently bought a German company grater Leifleit, 4 conveniently inserted nozzles with a convenient holder, the quality of the plastic is much better than that of the Berner, and the price is much more pleasant.
Slicing - 2 thickness positions.
Holder with 3 metal pins, floating.

Convenience:

1. Great convenience lies in the fact that the grater can be placed on any saucepan-bowl - there are many grooves in the grater on the back side for different diameters, but of course not exceeding the length of the grater

2. All attachments are neatly held inside the grater on the back side, and the holder is hung in front of the grater, and at the same time it remains very compact and nothing is lost.

I am happy with the grater like an elephant, I took it mainly for potatoes, it goes along the blade like clockwork, without tension, and pulls without a holder to bring

Of course, this is not a replacement for a burner, but I liked this grater more, it fit into my hand better than a burner, especially since I needed it mainly for circles. And to pay 675 UAH for a VIP-4 set - for 3 nozzles - my hand did not rise.

Here is my grater (available in Comfy stores for 126 UAH):

I read that many are against the tomato cutter, but I like it, it is for those who have hooks on their hands (this is me about myself) and cannot cut beautifully. Sleep everything is smooth and beautiful
Nayser Dizer, bought for 350 rubles (judging by the Chinese price), broke it in a month. He could not cope with potatoes, although he cut other vegetables regularly. Now I bought myself a Vitesse .... The first couple of times it didn’t work, then I got used to it .... Now I am very happy. Cuts potatoes with a bang

This is just a super thing !!! I saved so much time when slicing tomatoes for drying !!! Buy everything! You will not regret. This unit is one of the few that entered my life immediately and constantly from the moment of purchase.

I have a nice from the top shop. I have been using it for more than 2 years, I am very satisfied, it cuts everything that is necessary. there is another device from the top-shop snap and slice. convenient for tomatoes, just not those that are very ripe. I practically don't use it - it just didn't take root. I bought a classic Berner vegetable cutter, I'm happy as an elephant))) I think the Nice Diser will be abandoned)))

VIP series cuts into cubes.
Freken Bock
DJ, I have both Nayser and Berner, just a VIP. I use Niser much more often, I just love it. And I will never part with Berner. But Berner VIP cuts with real cubes in the same way as all other Berner models, that is, the product must be cut first. Here it was discussed. https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=2844.360

I was completely seduced, I guess I'll buy myself a Niser

I read it ... I also want to cut salads in basins in a matter of minutes. I think shtukentsiya is what you need! But I don’t know what to stop at: Alligator or Niser-Diser? Tell me what? Advise !!!

I, too, today finally received my Niser
A cool little thing for a fruit salad cut everything except an orange ... his membranes were beyond the power of the blades .. well, it doesn't matter because everything else is cut instantly ... and the process itself is very entertaining

In short, for those pennies (69 UAH) that I bought it ... a very cool thing
for 360 UAH (as they are sold everywhere), I probably would not buy

Cuts very well but also costs well
DJ
marinal I would also buy for the same price. Where did you buy it? from which city?

Sorry, that she did not immediately answer, problems with the Internet. I am from Simferopol. I ordered it through the TV shop for 399 gr. They promised in 3 weeks. I wait from day to day.

Or you can take a photo of Niceer, a cat 69 gr. worth it? I really want to see. Is there really such a difference in price for the same model? Who is the manufacturer of your Niceser?
DJ
marinal I bought myself a Niser. Thank you! If not for you, I don't know if I decided to buy at the auction at all. I completely agree with you that it does not cost more than 70 UAH. I tried onions, potatoes and an apple, I'm surprised I cut the onion. But with a katroshka ... Girls, what kind of mesh are you cutting for meat salad? I tried it on a small one, so it turns out more crumbling in a salad, and a large one seems to be too large
marinal
Congratulations on your purchase. I cut potatoes only into a coarse mesh. I cut onions on any grid. It's hard to cut carrots into a fine mesh, but if you try, everything is possible.
And as for the potatoes, it seems to me it all depends on the type of potatoes .. there is one that crumbles, and there is one that is hard varieties. And even if the potatoes are allowed to cool well, then they keep their shape better
@ irina @
Now almost all salads are cut by Neiser. On NG and Olivier, and herring under a fur coat (even diced herring) and other salads. Bow - no problem. Now there are two favorite assistants in the kitchen: Niceer and Berner.
P.S.By the way, I ordered a metal peeler through the Internet (with a grater), it cleans many times better than a plastic one.
marinal
What is this peeler ??? With Nyser, too, some kind of went in the set, it normally cleans the truth, I use Bergofovskaya
