Hello everybody!

I recently bought an electric sheet for our family (or an electric mattress, as it is also called), mainly for my wife - she is still a frost, so you can't open the window in winter, there is not enough oxygen. I immediately took a large "two-seater" model Sanitas SWB 80 XXL, that is, for myself at the same time. It turned out according to the principle "prepare the sleigh in the summer ..."

How is it in operation - is it a handy thing or so, self-indulgence? And how reliable is it?

Electro sheet (electromatrats)

Kapet, We have had such things for several years. The husband sleeps on it, under the sheet (by the way, I keep the sheet in the duvet cover). I only hide from above, when it is already cold, and there is no heating yet (utility workers temper us). The thing is convenient and useful, congratulations on a successful purchase!

An electric sheet is quite a convenient thing. But, using it, you must follow some safety rules. It is advisable to turn it on shortly before going to bed, and after warming up, turn it off. Sleeping with the included electric sheet is very unsafe and not good for the body. The so-called "pampering" of the body occurs, as a result of which a person becomes more susceptible to colds and viral diseases. In addition, a case is known when an unplugged electrical sheet led to a fire. So, for example, this happened with the parents of my friends. The apartment burned down, plus, people of the old school, they kept currency under the mattress, which also burned down completely.

I have had 2 of these blankets-mattresses-sheets (?) For a long time. Rather, now one - the second was recently stolen at the dacha. I enjoy using cold nights. Still, it is better for children and pregnant women to use them less often - no magnetic fields are induced there.

Are there magnetic fields stronger than those of my mobile?

Believe me, the thing is convenient, but unsafe.

Something this winter turned out to be cold. Even the pipes and filters in the basement froze, it's good that they didn't burst and didn't leak.

And the electromatrix helped us out great in the cold, it was warm. It warms so gently, neatly - the sensations are comfortable. And when I caught a little cold, I was shaking decently - I got drunk on teraflu, turned on the mattress to the maximum, and in the lulu for 6 hours. Woke up, sweated, and in the morning as good as new ...

And I want to buy an electric sheet, I think that the size 150 by 80 will be enough for me (my husband said that he couldn’t be bothered, and he didn’t fit on his part of the bed)))
I want to warm up my bed and then turn it off.
So far I stopped at Beurer.
Maybe someone has one?

I have used it for many years. I would not recommend it to others. Unsafe and not useful. In addition, my friends' apartment burned down from such a thing. Well, at least they themselves did not suffer ...

I'm afraid to buy one, even though it sounds tempting.
Still, there is no need to joke with electricity.

I watched the "Health" program recently, they said that IT'S VERY HARMFUL !!! During sleep, the blood somehow moves in a special way in the vessels of the brain and any electricity nearby affects this movement for the worse. Therefore, it is recommended to turn off all appliances at night from sockets, even bedside sconces.
Arbena
Exactly.
I didn't immediately think that electricity can be harmful during sleep.
Caprice
In addition, it greatly pampers the body. Sleep on this email.a sheet, then it's scary to go outside in the cold season. And we have it in Israel. What then can we say about your climate? Definitely a harmful device!
Whymuchka
And I bought myself a sheet and I really like it!
In the evening I turn it on, warm up the bed, and turn it off before going to bed. I turn it off from the network, as I turn on the oil heater.
Perfectly simple - the bed is warm, pleasant, you get warm right away - I fall asleep just instantly.

I don’t know what is particularly harmful? Of course, if the dacha is heated, then such a sheet may not be needed, but if people do not have heating?
So warm the bed? it is especially pleasant if it is cold and raining - all the linen is wet. (n) As long as you keep warm, and you don't want to sleep anymore.

With this use, I think that there will be no harm, but the comfort will be better. Just don't sleep with it turned on ... I almost had a fire at home because of the heating pad ... well, I haven't slept yet, I smelled it in time ... and the sofa under my husband burned out ...

But with a high humidity of the bed, it is especially dangerous to turn on the electric sheet. The electrical conductivity is high, you know ...

The whole apartment of my friends burned out like that. Well, at least they themselves remained intact ...

Yes, it is humid so rather purely psychologically (everything is cold, nasty)))
I have already read in several places about fires, but it seems that it was not about imported sheets, but about our goods.
And of course, I turn it on in the evening when I’m already sitting in the house, so there’s some kind of supervision. Hopefully.

Well, something like.

In addition, it greatly pampered the body.
.

if you sleep in a cold room, it does not pamper much.
English people always sleep like that - in a cold room, but in a warm bed.
we will never sleep in such cold rooms as the British have, so we may confine ourselves to an electric heating pad.
it is much smaller, and therefore, it seems to me, in all respects it is safer ...

Well, the concept of "our" and "imported" in our time is a very relative concept. I don’t live in Russia, so our goods for you, it seems, are also imported ... Do not be under the delusion of the quality of the so-called "imported" goods.

Well I do not know.Personally, on especially cold winter nights, I switched to a regular rubber in a case made of faux fur. And the sensations are much more pleasant, and the state of health is better the next morning.

Yes, I understand.
But unfortunately anything can short-circuit anything.

can...
but German is less common ...
my grandmother had a German heating pad, in those days with asbestos winding. she has been using it for over 20 years.

the rubber heating pad will definitely not short-circuit
Whymuchka, you are so tuned in to the purchase of an electric sheet that, despite the negative responses of those who used it and their negative experience, nevertheless, you are trying to convince everyone of the necessity and usefulness of this device. Why ask then? Buy and get your own negative experience Good luck

I still have two such heating pads, about the same age. But, nevertheless, I am afraid to use them.

So I already bought and unsubscribed about it on page 1 of this topic:

And while I do not regret the purchase - some joys.
Here's a heating pad, although I don't like it in a fur bag - there were samples.
Where are the negative experiences and negative responses?
Everyone has their own opinion, and I express my positive experience.

This is at first When I just bought this device, I was also delighted. Then the enthusiasm subsided when I felt harm on my own health, And then my friends' apartment burned down from an electric sheet ...
Continue to admire. Who can say that it is bad if the money has already been spent?
Good luck

Thank you for your wishes! Alaverdy!

If the money is spent, but the thing is bad, then any normal person will tell the truth.
To whom I count myself.
And you know, there are a lot of normal and good people.
I give up, otherwise the conversation may go to the side.

And we were apparently unlucky with the electric sheets, I bought it at the dacha in order to at least dry the mattresses when we arrive in winter. As a result, the thing turned out to be absolutely stupid, it barely heats even at the maximum and of course does not dry anything (((
