Ingredients

Homemade minced meat (pork / beef 50x50) 600 gr.
Potatoes (finely grated) 1 PC.
Onions (chop / can be in a meat grinder) 1-2 pcs.
Egg 1 PC.
Salt, pepper, seasonings taste
Carrot 1-2 pcs.
Tomato paste / tomatoes with their own juice 1 tbsp. l. / 2 pcs.
Sour cream / mayonnaise 1 tbsp. l.
Hot water 160 ml
Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

  • I had minced meat prepared for cutlets. Therefore, it contains potatoes. But now fried has to be limited. Therefore, it was decided to cook buns with carrots in sauce.
  • Combine minced meat, potatoes, onions, eggs, salt, spices to taste. Knead the minced meat well and let it rest for half an hour.
  • At this time, grate the Roco (from Berner) carrots on a coarse grater or grater. Grease a bowl of a pressure cooker with vegetable oil and fry the carrots on the "Fry - Vegetables" mode until soft, this is 7-10 minutes. Optionally, you can transfer the carrots out of the pressure cooker bowl for now, as I did.
  • Roll up balls 4 cm in diameter from the aged minced meat. To prevent the minced meat from sticking to your hands, moisten them with cold water.
  • Put the balls tightly to each other at the bottom of the warm bowl. I got 12 pieces. Put the carrots on the balls.
  • Stir the tomato paste (or twisted tomatoes) and sour cream / mayonnaise in 160 ml of hot water. Salt a little and add your favorite seasonings. Pour the sauce over the balls. They will be half covered.
  • Place the bowl in the pressure cooker and cook on Soup mode for 15 minutes at high pressure. The pressure after cooking was automatically equalized.
  • It turns out soft balls and not a greasy gravy. You can serve with any side dishes, for example, buckwheat, like mine.
