Ingredients

wheat flour 350 g
yogurt 300 g
salt 1.5 tsp
sugar 2 tsp
vegetable oil 1 st. l
baking powder 2 tsp

Cooking method

  • I suggest you try very simple, but very quick and delicious buns.
  • Combine flour with salt, baking powder and sugar. Mix yogurt with butter. Adding flour in parts, knead the dough.
  • Place the dough on a floured work surface and divide into 8-10 equal portions.
  • Form each part into a bun and place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
  • Place in an oven preheated to 210-220 C for 20-25 minutes.
  • Bake until golden brown.

Note

Today I baked sweet buns, so I reduced the amount of salt to 1 tsp, and put 2 tbsp of sugar. l and added dried apricots cut into small pieces to the dough. Before baking, I rolled buns in sugar.
In no case should the dough be steep, but rather should stick to the hands, but at the same time the formed bun should retain its shape.
Buns are cooked very quickly without using yeast. By adding various ingredients, they can be made sweet or not sweet, with dried fruits, vanilla, with herbs, with seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds ... whatever!
Yogurt can be replaced with sour cream, kefir, cottage cheese with the addition of milk. Depending on whether you use either cottage cheese or yogurt, the taste and texture changes, each time, a different taste, but always very tasty!

I baked it. It turned out quickly, the dough is so glorious! Only, for me they turned out to be heavy, it seems that they did not rise very much. I put it on 170 degrees to bake. I didn't understand what I did wrong.
