Tomato bread with herbs in a bread maker

Sugar 2 tbsp. l
Salt 1 tsp
Tomato paste 80 g

Onions (medium size) 1 PC
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Dry yeast 1.5 tsp
Olive oil 2 tbsp. l
Basil 1 tsp
Oregano 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Fry onions, add chopped garlic at the end of frying. Dissolve the tomato paste in water.
  • Place all ingredients in a bucket in the order recommended by your bread maker.

Time for preparing:

4 hours

Cooking program:

Basic, medium size, medium crust

Note

I baked the bread several times, everyone who tried it is happy with the result.
Instead of basil and oregano, you can use Italian Herbs (I don't like rosemary, so I add herbs to my taste).
Tomato paste comes in different thicknesses, which can affect the amount of water, so I advise you to keep an eye on the bun during the kneading process.
If there is such a recipe on the site, I apologize for the inattention. Do not judge strictly, this is my first recipe on the forum.

Hello. Yesterday we bought a Mulinex Uno bread maker. and this morning for the first time baked bread. the choice fell on your recipe. in the process of kneading, I added a little flour and tomato paste was in a 70 g jar, otherwise it was strictly according to the recipe. program 1, weight 750 g, medium crust.
it turned out sooo tasty! nothing fell out and baked beautifully despite the debut. thank you very much!

recently purchased a bread maker, very little experience. I tried to bake your bread, everything turned out amazingly !!! I didn't have to add some flour, everyone who tried it liked it !!! this bread can probably be baked at a delayed start. Thank you!!!

melkay, thanks for the tip, bake for health It is quite possible to use the delayed start for this bread. I loaded groceries in the evening, and in the morning everything is ready

good day! Can i ask you??!! I have a mulinex, there is no delayed start in the main mode.
but there is a French bun, can this bread be baked in the French mode? I certainly read the headings "useful advice", etc. but so far there is so much information that my head is spinning
Blackout
The French mode differs in the duration of the proofing of the dough, I baked only in the main mode, so I cannot say about the result. I have a Panasonic bread maker, it has a delay in the main mode.

I decided to change the recipe a little. I took not only wheat flour (375 g), but also rye flour (125 g), added 1 egg. The gingerbread man seemed a bit damp, so I added 3 tablespoons of tbsp. flakes (5 cereals) and rye bran are about the same. And somewhere else I read about cheese. Rubbed and about a handful of cheese. Excellent bread. The color is joyful, the taste is optimistic)))

With these changes, a new recipe is obtained. But I'm sure the result is good!
And the color is really joyful.
Glad you liked it.

Good day! I'm just learning to handle my bread maker, I have a Panasonic, the question arose, is it possible to add tomato sauce instead of pasta?
Admin

You can, just watch the consistency of the dough, the flour-liquid balance, since the sauce is thinner than the pasta

Thanks for the recipe, the taste is really excellent, but apparently I could not balance flour and liquid by one hundred percent, don't judge strictly, I'll try to post a photo

Uffff, well, that's nice, otherwise I was worried, but hoped at first I poured 220ml of water it seemed not enough, then I added another tablespoon, maybe this is not significantly less than in the recipe, but still

Well, here I also tried to bake such bread. It turned out fragrant and pretty.
