Yesterday I baked bread with such a beautiful name ... It turned out great, only the homemade did not recognize anything special in the new taste, they said that no one tasted delicious, airy, no one in general noticed the taste of sesame (it was not for nothing that I initially wanted to cancel it altogether), so that, sesame seeds need either much more, or do not put at all, otherwise 3 tbsp. l. - neither there nor here (but this is purely my personal opinion). Also, according to the recipe, you should put 125 gr. butter, I did so, but my eaters admitted that it tasted well, very ghostly, despite the rather large amount, so they agreed that the bread: tasty, airy, tall, beautiful, etc.-but not for every day ... But it's worth a try. I did everything exactly according to the recipe, gram to gram.

Today I baked bread according to the recipe with the same name, but made some changes (maybe there will even be my own recipe). The recipe is this:
Flour 500 g
Yeast 1.75 tsp
Salt 1.5 tsp
Sugar 1.5 tbsp l.
1 medium egg
Sesame seeds 3 tbsp l.
Vegetable oil 4 tbsp. l.
Semolina 70 g
Powdered milk 2 tbsp. l.
Mayonnaise 1 tbsp l. (thanks to Ale4ka for the idea)
Old kefir (about 100 ml) + water up to 320 ml
Basic mode, XL size, light crust.

Has risen perfectly, lush, soft, ruddy. There was such a smell when baking! looks a little like the smell of semolina, and the finished bread smells somehow special.

I have already baked this, it does NOT smell of semolina porridge, semolina is simply NOT felt.
I think white is the color, if semolina and flour are bleached (there are some), my semolina is yellow and the color was usual for wheat bread.
Sesame, if not fried in a dry frying pan, is NOT felt at all, it seems that it dissolves there
But if you fry sesame seeds, then you can see it and taste it with taste buds.

Well, that's how anyone feels. Some in Temka about the smell of bread said that they didn't smell like bread either. Smell is a subjective feeling.
And semolina and flour are the most common, bought in an ordinary store.
But, NOTE, I have one egg in my recipe, not two! The yolk of eggs gives a yellowish crumb, especially rustic ones.
And in general, no matter how many bakes, even if you repeat gram for gram, you will not get the same bread!

Laurent !!!!!!!!! I baked bread according to your recipe today! Excellent, delicious, fluffy, snow-white bread! Thank you so much for the recipe! I recommend to all.

Varenievna, congratulations, eat to your health!

I will say this, I began to add semolina to most of the bread. I replace 50 g of wheat flour with 50 g of semolina. The result is pleasing, the bread becomes more tender, it seems to me so. Try it if you want, you might like it.

Today I baked 2 breads according to the two recipes given here! Both turned out great, but according to Alinchik's recipe, the bread rose higher. It's a pity that I cannot appreciate the difference in taste (if any), since I immediately presented one loaf to my father-in-law. Thanks again for the recipes!

P.S. The only thing that I changed in the recipe was that I added 1 tsp. gluten and live yeast (approx. 13 gr.), and I have my own kefir (on kefir fungi)
I'll cut the bread and insert a picture while it cools.

Here's another bread for your recipe. I made some adjustments: instead of milk and water, I took whey, 2 tbsp. l. dry milk, butter sl. replaced 45g margarine and grows 80 ml. butter, added 60 grams of flour (my flour is moist), baked 1kg weight, medium crust, Main program.
The bread turned out to be very beautiful and delicious!

I baked bread according to the recipe today LaraN... The bread lived up to its name - and went up to the very roof and turned out to be delicious!
I just for lack of milk powder replaced it and water with plain milk. The mother-in-law said that with such bread we can only marry (but it's too early for us - our son is 4.5 years old), so we enjoy ourselves
LaraN thanks for the recipe.

Alinchik, I was confused in the recipe by the amount of salt - 1 tbsp. l. Isn't that a typo?

Alinchik, I was confused in the recipe by the amount of salt - 1 tbsp. l. Isn't that a typo?

Thank you!
I corrected it by 1 tsp. Optimal for this amount of flour is 1.5 tsp. or 2% by weight of flour

This recipe attracted my attention with its name. I already wrote down 2 recipes with semolina and bake them from time to time. Like. It will be necessary to bake according to this recipe 🔗
