Ingredients

Apples 1 kg
Sugar 200-300 g
Apple Pie Seasoning Bag
optional

Cooking method

  • Wash the apples, remove the core, peel, leave with the peel, to your taste, I personally peel. Cut into thin slices or small cubes (a matter of taste), cover with sugar and leave until the juice is released. Bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes from the moment it boils. Arrange in jars, roll up with tin lids.
  • It is wonderful to store such a blank, in the winter in pies, what the doctor ordered! And even so to eat (for dessert or for tea) is very tasty! I like to add seasoning for apple pies to this blank, like this:

I support! The filling is super! I've done it before too. True, now, after the apples have been juiced, I don't boil them, but put them tightly in jars and sterilize (I love this business!) 0.5l - 15 minutes. When sterilizing, a small load, a lid or a plate should be put on the jars, because apples are light and all jars tend to float.

With this option, there is less juice in the cans (no need to decant later). And the remaining juice can be closed separately, but I can't do that - it is drunk before that!

I put it in a basin, sprinkle it with sugar and "add" lemon. For 2.5 kg of apples I take 0.5 kg of sugar. Then everything is according to the recipe. In winter, in pies and anywhere, they taste like baked apples. In the summer I took out a jar, opened it in a blender. I baked such pies - I spread mashed potatoes on a circle of dough, a spoonful of fresh blueberries on top. Delicious.
