Ingredients

Flour
Water 1 tbsp.
Granulated sugar 1 tbsp.
Vegetable oil 1/2 tbsp.
Honey 2 tbsp. l.
Soda 1 tsp
Cocoa 2 tbsp. l.
Chopped spices:
cloves, cinnamon, coriander
Raisins 1/2 tbsp.
Nuts 1/2 tbsp.

Cooking method

  • 1. Pour sugar into a bowl, pour water and vegetable oil, put honey and heat until sugar and honey are completely dissolved.
  • 2. Pour soda, cocoa, spices into the liquid cooled down to 30 ° -40 ° C and mix thoroughly so that no lumps remain.
  • 3. Add raisins, nuts and flour as needed so that the density of the dough resembles good sour cream.
  • 4. Bake in a pan greased with butter and dusted with flour.
  • Note
  • The cooled gingerbread can be cut lengthwise and layered with jam, and covered with glaze on top.
  • If you have vegetable margarine, you can make the icing as follows: Mix 150 g of icing sugar with 2 tbsp. spoons of cocoa powder, add 3 tbsp. spoons of hot water and 2 tbsp. tablespoons of soft room temperature vegetable margarine.

I did it several times - both in the oven and in the electric magic. It turns out lush, soft, I can't even believe that it is lean. For my taste, you can not sandwich or glaze with anything - and so good.

I report on cooking: I put everything according to the recipe, put it in a mold and, since there were no instructions for baking, put it in a preheated oven at 160 degrees. for 40 min. Layered with apple-plum jam, did not glaze. It turned out divinely! Gusto! Super!

I want to try to make something like a lean cake based on this recipe: cut the finished gingerbread into two cakes, layer with jam or fruit puree, cover the top cake with canned or frozen fruits / berries and pour over the jelly. It's just a pity that the crochet is convex in the middle. It will be necessary to align the "hump" and turn the top cake cut up. What do you think will work? Or maybe there are other ideas how to replace the biscuit with such lean?

I did it with jam, but I think it will be tastier with fruit. For cream, sometimes I also buy chocolate or hazelnut paste (produced by "Bob and Soy" lean). Today I bought a margarine, I'll try to make the icing according to your recipe.

Thanks for the soybean paste idea. Even soy vanilla dessert is probably more suitable. I love this stuff. It is made of something, but if you start the jar, it will not come off. So I stopped buying. But I think it will be awesome as a layer.
And the day before yesterday I tried to pour this dough into muffin molds (which are in the form of indentations on a pan). It turned out to be a dozen adorable supposedly cupcakes. The family lost it in a moment. Plus on the bottom of the barrel was scraped into a separate 13th mold - a bonus for my husband.

The smell is awesome, the taste is even better! Top - blueberry jam and frosting. Time is needed for everything - 50 minutes!

Thanks for the recipe. It is done quickly, it turns out delicious. I change the ingredients to my liking. Less spices, more cocoa, less honey and sugar. It turns out well. Nothing different from a quick pie. In theory, it should stay fresh longer. But I can't check, it is eaten.
