Chocolate Crack Cookies

Ingredients

bitter chocolate 70-75% 150 g
butter 50 g
eggs (large) 2 pcs
granulated sugar 70 g
wheat flour 190 g
salt pinch
vanilla on the tip of a knife
baking powder 1/4 tsp
icing sugar (top) 1.5 tbsp. l

Cooking method

  • Melt the butter and chocolate in a water bath, cool.
  • Grind the eggs with sugar and vanilla, add the chocolate mass and stir until smooth.
  • Mix the flour with salt and baking powder, sift into the egg-chocolate mixture and knead the viscous dough.
  • Put the dough in the refrigerator for two hours or in the freezer for half an hour.
  • Heat the oven to 180 degrees, cover the baking sheet with baking paper and grease with butter.
  • Pour icing sugar into a plate, form small balls from the dough, about the size of a walnut. Roll each ball well in powdered sugar and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-17 minutes, until characteristic cracks appear. Cool the finished cookies on the wire rack.
