Seaweed salad in oriental style

Ingredients

Seaweed 300 BC
Lightly salted salmon (replacement: boiled shrimp or squid rings) 150 g
Red onion 1/2 pcs.
Refueling:
Soy sauce 1 tbsp. l.
Fish sauce 1 tbsp. l.
Sesame oil 1 tbsp. l.
Vinegar (rice or wine) 1 tbsp. l.
Sesame seeds 1-2 tbsp. l.
Pine nuts handful

Cooking method

  • Add onion, pine nuts and sesame seeds (fried, if not lazy) to the seaweed.
  • For dressing, take equal parts of sesame oil, soy and fish sauce (in the absence of fish, increase the amount of soy), vinegar to choose from (rice or wine). Personally, I am more impressed with balsamic.

I'll be third! Yesterday I accidentally got a bag of cabbage on my arm, put it off until tomorrow, that is, for today ... I'll go get it wet!
True, I don't have fish ... everything from the recipe is there, but it is not ...

Arochka, how by the way did you remind me of the seaweed! I am here in a state of "I want something like that, I myself do not know what" and here is your salad! Just the right thing. Thank you!

Very timely, Arochka !!! The other day I sent the annoying seaweed into the freezer - I couldn't think of doing something like that with it ... How did I not think of nuts with seafood?
I don't have red fish at hand, but there are shrimps!
Thank you for such an interesting recipe - I will definitely cook!

Oh, how I like it. We need to buy fish sauce and go!

I'm shocked girls! in a good way
I never thought that the issue of seaweed still worries someone just as much ...
For example, I was all exhausted, thinking what to do with this boring seaweed ... Of course, it's far from the Italian and Central Asian cuisine, which is respected in our family. And the task was to introduce a loved one to this same seaweed (he never tried it !!!)
So I decided that it was necessary to refine it with sauces. I collected everything that was in the house, except for Tabasco (by the way, a couple of drops will not hurt, I just do not get spicy now), and chatted about a gas station.
I warn you right away, cook something "serious" for the second, this salad terribly whets your appetite! I was ready to eat the buffalo, but he was not there

Girls, thank you so much for the praise!
So nice!
In general, try it!

Ira, can there be any other fish or mussels? Or don't you eat shellfish?
Gaby
Arochka, what an interesting dish you have created. +1 for a flight of fantasy.
Tell me please, did you cook the cabbage yourself or buy it ready-made? I have a pack dry, but I don't know how to cook, or rather I tried one recipe from the Internet, it turned out not very tasty. Or which of the girls knows how to cook?
Arka
Vika, thanks!
I bought boiled salted cabbage without additives (none to taste).
And the dry one can probably be poured cold and boiled with salt and lemon for about 40 minutes.

I read two ways in the net:
1) as I already wrote only without additives
2) soak in the hall. water for 10 hours, rinse well, cook three times for 20 minutes, each time draining and renewing the water.
Gaby
Arochka, thanks for the option of cooking cabbage.

And I also bought Belarusian butter today, and I remembered you, that's how everything connected, then ... I just remembered this.
Nagira
Arochka, the stars did not agree for the salad today I had to run away on business, now I returned and soaked the cabbage overnight. ZATO - I bought more marine components not a fish, but mussels.

And in general, I don't cook cabbage during cooking, a lot of things are lost, they change ... I soak it overnight, then wash it thoroughly (otherwise there is a lot of sand), pour it over with boiling water and cut it into a salad ...
Therefore, I buy only thin long cabbage, almost like this

But such a cabbage needs to be boiled, it seems to me that almost all of it consists not of leaves, but of internodes or whatever they are called ... They are tough

Eehh, in my childhood there was no shortage of freshly salted kelp ... in stores they always sold by weight ... true, and I lived then a little closer to the sea ...
Arka
Irina, thank you! A whole excursion into the cabbage world!

Nata, Arka, bookmark, in the fall we will crack, thanks
