Bread sticks with pesto

Ingredients

wheat flour 500gr
salt 10gr
fresh yeast 10gr
water 350gr
PESTO
basil leaves (I have parsley) 70gr
parmesan 40gr
olive oil 5 tbsp. l.
clove of garlic 1
pine nuts 1-2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • The dough was kneaded in HP, mode 2.20min
  • Divide the matched dough into 2 parts, smooth it into a rectangle about 15x30cm, 1cm thick. Brush a rectangle of pesto dough (or sprinkle with sesame seeds). Fold the top third of the dough towards the center, then the bottom. Cut the dough into 10-12 strips about 1 cm wide.
  • Bread sticks with pesto
  • Twist each strip in a spiral several times and roll it slightly over the working surface, stretching along the length of the baking sheet.
  • Bread sticks with pesto
  • Spread the sticks on a baking sheet. Cover with a towel and leave to simmer for 20 minutes. Bake in an oven preheated to 250 degrees for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown

How simple, quick and, I have no doubt, delicious !!!!!! Unfortunately, so far only bookmarks, the oven is waiting for repair
GruSha
Thank you
The oven will be repaired soon :) I'm also waiting for my new one

And add salt to the pesto? According to the classics, it seems necessary, and then such sticks are very much parallelized to beer!
And I understand that it is not necessary to bring this sauce "to homogeneity" and it is necessary to work with a blender without fanaticism. Let the pesto, like in the last photo, feel the individual pieces of ingredients!
Omela
GruSha , very nice!!! And delicious !!

Thank you

And add salt to the pesto?

And this is what kind of parmesan will come across. I put in salt at the very last moment, if necessary. Parmesan parmesan strife If you take Italian, then it can be salty (and expensive). If you take Lithuanian, it is softer (and cheaper).

And I immediately put the sticks in the bookmarks. Painfully beautiful!

Oooh, what sticks !!!! Are they crispy? Aren't you a little dry? I will definitely bake
nataliliya
Oh, there is just a ready-made Pesto in the bank, and I was thinking where to put it !!! Let's go to the oven!
GruSha
if it takes longer to bake, then they can be crispy, and so they are soft, they are soaked in oil from pesto.

Natalia, I hope you like it :)

: hi: How beautiful and delicious. The most important thing is not to dry out the baked goods. Cool recipe. I'll bookmark it.

Thank you very much for the recipe. We really liked it. My basil is only dry, so I sprinkled it a little into the oil to soften it. I also added frozen parsley. I did it for half the norm, in one sitting with an omelet with tomatoes flew away.
GruSha
very very glad that I liked the sticks

From the recipe: Divide the matched dough into 2 parts.
! 0-12 strips should be made from each part?
GruSha
yes, I made pesto from one part, sesame from the other, just sprinkled with sesame
Sauyri
Thank you so much for the recipe Only I, as a beginner, have a question: Here with fast-acting yeast, dry, I understand how to make the dough. But the fresh question for me is when to add them to the dispenser or directly to the bucket?

knead with flour and in a bucket

Thank you very much, I'm already starting to cook.

I did everything according to the recipe, I tried not to back down a bit, but for some reason, during the proofing, my sticks did not increase in any way and as a result they turned out delicious, but not airy, as I hoped. Tell me where I could have gone wrong? But no matter what, in my family, the sticks went away quickly. The next day I was left alone and now she was already terribly "rubber". The dough rose normally (more than half a bucket), but it was very sticky, I had to add flour.

GruSha, tell me, not too much water for 500 grams of flour? I usually have 310 ml per 600 (!!!) grams in my bread maker, but then I still have to roll it.

Maybe that's why Sauyri got too sticky dough?

Tell us who has already tried it?

GruSha, forgive me for interfering, but I will try to answer the question. The ratio of flour and water can be different. Each regulates in its own way.

And about stickiness - it's quite normal. To increase the softness of the dough, such techniques are used, it is just that during molding, the dough is sprinkled with flour more abundantly. In this case, the dough is bland, even without oil, so it is better for it to be sticky. But in the absence of baking, it will certainly be "rubber" on the second day.
I immediately kneaded the dough in milk, egg and butter. The result was very pleasing! Deliciously incredible. I even found dried basil for the occasion! True, the cheese is ordinary hard, the nuts are walnuts ... It's delicious anyway !!! Many thanks to the author!

GruShathank you very much for this wonderful recipe!
It's just incredibly delicious!
I also added arugula and spinach to the sauce, but I have no nuts.
That's how it turned out - the children were able to reduce them in no time. Husband has almost nothing left ...

It did not work to roll up a tourniquet, it unwound. I then folded this tourniquet in half and got a kind of pigtail.
