Lamb chops with lentil curry

Ingredients

Red lentils in flakes 100 g (200 ml)
Water (broth) 200-300 ml
Bulb 1 PC.
Garlic 1 clove
Fresh ginger small process

Cooking method

  • There is almost nothing to explain and show about meat, I will limit myself to a few comments, and I'd rather focus on the side dish.
  • The square needs to be cut into pieces of 4 ribs. Rub each piece with salt and ground coriander and it is advisable, but not necessary, to marinate the meat in advance in this way.
  • Fold the meat in a baking bag, tie it up and place in an oven preheated to 200 ° C on an average level for 1-1.5 hours (depending on size). As you can see, everything is simple!
  • 20 minutes before the meat is ready, start making a side dish.
  • Let's dwell on the side dish in more detail.
  • Measure out water, lentil flakes. The proportions are as follows: if you want to spread, then flakes to water 1: 2; if the average density is 1: 1.5; if you want more dense, then 1: 1. From 100 g of flakes, 2 servings are obtained. Water can be replaced with any broth.
  • I did medium density.
  • Finely chop the onion, garlic and ginger.

  • Fry the spices without oil in a bowl with a thick bottom, stirring constantly, until a strong aroma. Add oil, onion, garlic and ginger.

  • Fry for a couple of minutes.
  • Add chopped tomato or tomato paste, stir and sauté for another minute.

  • Add coconut milk (if available, but what a bouquet of flavors!)

  • Pour in some water and simmer for 3 minutes.

  • Add cereal. Pour in the rest of the water and simmer for 5-7 minutes over low heat.
