Steamed caramel dessert

Ingredients

Cream (or milk + condensed cream) 200ml
Egg yolk 2 pcs
Sugar 2st. l. + 2st. l.

Cooking method

  • Based on the Steamed caramel dessert
  • Combine the yolks and sugar until the latter is dissolved.
  • Gently pour the cream into the yolk-sugar mass, continuing to mix. I do this with a bamix mixing (perforated) nozzle.
  • If instead of cream milk and condensed cream (2 tbsp. L.), Then first mix them, and then pour this mixture into the yolk-sugar mixture (in this case, sugar 1 tbsp. L.).
  • Pour the yolk-butter mixture into molds over the caramel.
  • Steamed caramel dessert
  • Put a double boiler in a multicooker. Fill with hot water (it will boil faster) just above the level of the steamer or level with the steamer.
  • Place the molds on a double boiler. Cover them on top with foil or the very same form so that moisture does not get into the dessert.

  • Steam-Meat mode 30-50 minutes depending on the volume of the forms.
  • If the form is hard, then you can remove it immediately from the bowl, if it is soft, then wait until the dessert cools down.

  • Remove the dessert from the molds after the dessert has cooled completely.
  • Flip the mold onto a plate
