Fish in a jar

Fish in a jar

Ingredients

Fish (I have pink salmon) 1 PC
Tomatoes -2 pcs
Onion -1-2 pcs
Salt, pepper to taste
OM -1st. l.

Cooking method

  • We clean and gut the fish. We cut tomatoes and onions, in any shape (it is better to scald or cook onion in a microwave oven for 1-2 minutes, because it turns out to be "lively", but this is exactly what I love). At the bottom of the jar we put part of the onion and tomato, salt, pepper, then put the fish, cut into pieces, salt, pepper, again a layer of tomato and onion, pour a little olive oil. Even tastier and juicier if each layer of fish is layered with onions and tomatoes)
  • We put in the AG, the bottom grate, with an expansion ring, time 45 minutes, temperature 180 degrees.
  • Fish in a jar

Note

It is very tasty and simple. This is how I make chicken and various types of fish.
Bon Appetit

How interesting! How delicious! It will be necessary to cook salmon like that, but in the oven (for lack of AG).

We have always done this in the oven, everything works out great.

I confirm, the recipe is just super! (y) Once, with a total lack of funds and goods, I made frozen herring like this, just sprinkled it with vinegar and cooked in pots in the oven. The girls came to me - and I gave them a pot for each - they were already squeaking!
Scarlett
I forgot - and I also added a little vegetable oil, more the herring is dry

Oh, here's dinner! At lunchtime I run and throw it in a cartoon ... Well, or in the evening for breakfast for my spouse - I don't eat in the morning ..... We can, I'll try it in the evening

Girls, what kind of fish does it taste like, what does it look like? And yet, if you make mackerel in the oven, for example, is the stock strong? I baked in foil, so it "smelled" great ... Seafood ...

Herring "smells" even cooler! That's why I added vinegar, it kills the smell a little, well, and the bones soften better - I read somewhere that when you make canned fish, you need acid to soften the bones more quickly. I think you can sprinkle with lemon - when I bake mackerel, I definitely do this - there is almost no smell, I don't really like it either

Oh Tanyush, and I made yours such a fish! Delicious! Thank you!

Mackerel, I often make it with tomatoes and bell peppers, and as a rule there is no strong smell. I bake in foil or in a jar.

?
surely there is no smell? I made mackerel in the AG in the country. The smell was horrible ... I also thought, it's good that I didn't do it in my apartment at home .... I don't want it anymore.

Finely chop the tomato, bell pepper, green tea (my mother adds onions to me) stuff the fish carcass with this mixture, salt the pepper, wrap it tightly in foil and bake it in AG. or in cling film, but I boil it in a film, but when boiling, when you unfold the film, the smell is palpable.
this is boiled in a film

All the same, I will add one comment to my photos ... the can was 2-liter ... it stood on the lower grate ... even taking into account the expansion ring, the can was tightly against the AG lid ...
For this volume of the can I took one pink salmon .. it turned out 6 pieces ..

Thank you for reminding me of a very simple and delicious recipe.
What is good - yes to everyone! especially not to stand by the stove ... Cut-folded-set-take out and eat ... Delicious !!!!
During their student days, they did this in the oven. Well, if you came across a chicken, then you must put potatoes on the bottom of the can ...

The truth is about potatoes. As a child, my mother used to make chicken necks and we hulled them like seeds.

Super! Everything is super: both the recipe and the video
There is only one question: if you do it in the oven, what should you put the jar on? Can I put it directly on a baking sheet or on a wire rack? will not burst? And how long does it take for the pink salmon bones to soften to a "canned" state?

We used to put it right on a baking sheet, I honestly won't tell in time, I haven't used the oven for many years, but I think it's no more than 180 degrees, 1.5 hours is the minimum.

I just don't have an airfryer, and a small decent jar won't fit in a cartoon. We'll have to in the oven.

It will work out great in the oven, we made chicken and fish there, even meat stew in jars. We put the jar in a cold oven, turn it on and it heats up gradually, the inner content languishes in its own juice. Good luck and delicious food

Aha! That's what is important - put it cold! And I would put it in a hot one

And what, right here in the bank ... and that's it? And if you fall into another vessel - will there be another dish?
I'm just interested ...

It seems like there shouldn't be another, but it's worth a try at the bank

Virgo, I once did chicken like that, but not in the oven, but in cotton. My oven was busy, so I pulled out a bucket from the cotton and put meat in a liter jar.Everything was cooked in one baking cycle.
Ikra
May @, class! And nothing burst? Awesome! And then I just make my bread maker knead the dough.

No, it didn't burst, well, it doesn't burst in the oven. Placed in a cold oven or cotton, gradually heats up. If you are afraid, then you can put it in a ceramic pot.

How many interesting things you can learn from one recipe ...
I put it in a cold oven on a baking sheet. I take a 2-liter can. I close the jar with an iron lid on top. Those who still have glass lids are even better.
Only caps without elastic... If there is no lid, I fold the foil in 3-4 layers, squeeze it along the edge of the can. I turn on the oven 180 degrees. After about 40 minutes, a divine smell begins to go. After 10 minutes I turn off the oven, I don't take out the jar, but I let it cool down with the oven ...

It is good to make meat-potatoes-vegetables in ceramic pots. Cover them with lids, if there are none, cover them with a simple dough or cover with foil.
But I don't make fish in pots. The pots absorb odors quickly ... Better in a 1.5 or 2 liter glass jar. I have one jar "dedicated" specifically for the oven.

Good luck everyone. Easy, delicious preparation and great mood !!!!
