Tell me, what does the taste look like? judging by the composition, you should get something in between, between a bun and a donut ... my waffle iron for Belgian waffles is idle ... I can't find a recipe! .....

Veronica tastes like waffles from a cafe. The taste is something between a pancake and a donut. By the way, I do it often and the taste is sometimes different, depending on the freshness of the yeast. Although they are dry, they still affect the taste of freshness.

I have not eaten such waffles in a cafe. Therefore, I ask.

What is your waffle iron? On my Belgian waffles are not very Belgian, in the sense that they are not so plump

Galina, I want to bake your waffles, tell me you have not tried to bake not with dry yeast, but with fresh yeast? Which ones are tastier?
Galinka-Malinka
capricious I have not tried it, I think the correct amount will not change the taste :) Unsubscribe if you cook, please.
capricious
Thank you, I will bake both dry and fresh, to know the difference, I will write down the results.

Thanks for the recipe, delicious waffles, soft. Bakers with both dry yeast and fresh, with fresh ones were softer and grew better.

While you can eat fresh. Compared to waffles with condensed milk, these are not edible on the second day.
Added flour 2 tbsp. l., otherwise the dough was too thin
Evgeniya Gri
For some reason, it turned out flat, maybe it was necessary to add a couple of spoons of flour.

Wafers on condensed milk are more like cookies, but these are like pancakes A week ago I bought a waffle iron, I still can't find the perfect recipe. But my family liked these ones the most! They are soft, not sugary sweet, tender and airy, but in my subjective opinion they do not look like classic waffles, they still taste like pancakes or pancakes.

Brought a thank you for the waffles. Delicious. As for me, the waffles are exactly the same as in Brussels (there was a case to try). I sprinkled it with icing sugar on top and covered it with cherry and chocolate icing. There are no photos, I hope next time I will have time to photograph this beauty.
