And at work we were going to buy a pressure cooker Unit USP-1020D as a gift. In a-sha-not 1900r. It seems like the same as Lakuchina 50-90. And the price. Here are just few reviews. And the cover is removable or not?

The pressure cooker is good! I have 1020, but from 1040 I saw the differences only in the shape of the valve. the modes are the same, it looks the same.
It is definitely necessary to buy, even more so at such a great price. While I was waiting for receipt at the warehouse, I wanted it, I told my friends, so they ordered it right away 4. At the moment there is an order from friends and relatives of acquaintances 9! pieces. For me, this is an indicator when they order the same for mothers and sisters. If you have any questions, ask, I will answer. By the way, relieving pressure with cold water is really very convenient and safe.

Good for dishes with a lot of liquid. Cooks much faster due to the fact that it is a pressure cooker.
But frying in it is contraindicated! Everything burns terribly to the saucepan, the non-stick coating is disgusting - in a couple of months, almost everything was cleaned from the bottom.
In general, a very good thing for its price! Especially for any jellied meat.

Maybe in 1040 this no coating? In my 1020, I fry onions, carrots are mandatory when preparing soup. I fry meat, cutlets, fish .. the coating is normal. I use it for six months.

Maybe so. Or, alternatively, I just came across such a wonderful specimen. I'm generally lucky in this regard
Aygul
Maybe. By the way, the warranty period has not yet expired? Give it back, let it change!

Hey everyone!!!
Because of this post, I even registered myself ...
I baked a pie in this wonderful unit, cooked an omelet and nothing burned ... yesterday I fried potatoes on the "Baking" mode, though I had to fry them to a crust on the "No lid" mode, but in about 20 minutes fried potatoes without much effort so far no where did it work)))))
Aygul
Have you seen how prices have jumped?
Tatian
Hello, can you tell me, please, in what mode are soups prepared?

Hello! Who where, of course. I have been cooking on the Meat mode lately. If the soup is with chicken, then I set the time to 12-15 minutes. If with meat - 18-20 minutes. I even cook peas here, not on Bean

It depends on how you prepare the soups. I always cook meat beforehand separately from soup. And then, depending on what the soup is with. Just with potatoes - on Oatmeal, with rice - on Rice, with peas on Legumes (so that the peas are boiled in mashed potatoes).

Aygul, Trendy, thank you)

looked after the model-1070 pressure cooker, can anyone have one like them in terms of workmanship? With a volume of 5 liters, how much can you load it as much as possible?

I'm very interested in the mode: Slow cookers. - cooking time, declared temperature .... Or is it an analogue of the "extinguishing" mode?

Comrades, please tell me. Got a pressure cooker today. The pressure valve that looks loose at the top. That is, it spins in a circle without problems. This is normal? or is it still a marriage?

In Slow Cooker mode, the default time is 58 minutes, adjustable from 20 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. I don't know about the temperature, the manufacturer did not indicate the temperature, but it looks like the stewing mode judging by the cooking results (I cooked the meat perfectly with almost no liquid)

I have Unit USP-1020D, I cook for almost 1.5 years all the time, I often fry it without a lid, the coating holds up so far, nothing sticks or is spoiled. Sometimes the omelet was baked, but after soaking, the crust was washed off without a trace.

1040 and 1020 differ in the coating of pots, 1020 - Teflon, 1040 - ceramic

marina-mm, sister multi-pressure cooker!

I didn’t know about the coatings, all my friends had 1020 (bought on my tip) and all had bowls in perfect condition! and how much I fry myself

Thank you! Mutually! I spy here regularly (I'm not a writer myself, but I really respect those who exhibit their recipes)
She herself supplied everyone who agreed with Unit multicookers, recently learned the difference between 1020 and 1040, so the last purchase for parents was the 1040 model.

Why is a ceramic bowl better? Well, explain to me, please!

And I like Teflon better!

It seemed to me that ceramics are more stable and, judging by the frying pan, they roast more strongly in ceramic ones. But I can't say more precisely, my parents live far from me, their pressure cooker has been postponed until the summer season, and I haven’t had them since then and haven’t tried this ceramics myself. So it may not be better, but they wanted to

Good day everyone! I bought a UNIT 1040 pressure cooker, can you please tell me which function you can use to cook first courses? (I looked through the recipes, I'm specifically interested in borscht) thanks.
The question is removed, I have already figured it out, I found the answer on the forum, thanks!
Shahin
What is the maximum time on the "baking" mode and if the soups are cooked on stew, is 2.5 hours enough?

Good day! Tell me who has a new model from Unit 1090D? I bought it myself recently, I cook it almost every day - there is a terrible smell when cooking. Is this for all Unit models or is it just me that was so lucky?
Aygul
I had 1020, there was no smell
Sandy
Aygul but how is it - pressure relief with cold water
Elena ***
Aygul, thank you for answering. And by chance, there is no information - how to contact Unit representatives? I want to ask them a question. Maybe it's a marriage. Did you initially have no smell? Or as many write and say - the smell is there for the first three days, and then it passes
Aygul
Oksana, hi!
There is a special hole in the lid, we pour cold water into it, which passes along the groove inside the lid, then along the rim of the lid, where it connects to the main body (this is how I can explain it), cooling, and comes out through the drip tray, which in turn is divided for 2 containers connected by a groove - water is poured into the 1st, bend the 2nd, water pours into the substituted container, as a result of which the pressure is released without steam release. Something like this...

I used to cool down the pressure cooker like this all the time, the pressure dropped so quickly
Aygul
Yes, faster than steam, and the lid does not get dirty, you can even cool milk porridge, broths this way ...
Elena ***
Yes. boiled lemon. So the bowl itself and the food in it does not smell. And the smell comes (as it seems to me) from the unit itself when the food is being prepared.
When I read about this model before (messages were published in the spring) I read such opinions. They explained to everyone that such a party was. But, now that is already September. Looks like everything on the same party and I came across.
Now I'm looking for how to contact representatives on this site.

Thanks for the answer, calmed down. I thought that this very important function for me was not provided, I was even upset, which means that there is an additional function under each program. which is very pleasing.
Aygul
Iva, just to fry onions / carrots for soup, use the lidless mode, as you put in a pan and stir. On Baking (works with a closed lid), the frying is intense, be careful, check

Thank you. It turns out that potatoes are also fried on baking under pressure. meat. chicken or fish, with the addition of oil, and you need to set any time.
Aygul
you don't even have to set the time on purpose, but just turn it off as it cooks, and if you don't have time to cook, then add time and fry it.

Hello everyone, I intensively use the Unit 1040 pressure cooker. I am amazed at how smartly it cooks, fries, soars everything. is gaining pressure. The beans were boiled for the legume function for 40 minutes. so boiled. that in an instant she turned into mashed potatoes with a blender and cooked rice on the program with bean soup with pasta and spices. Well, the taste was like cooked in the oven, my husband really liked the dish. I cooked a rabbit with potatoes, meat on a mode. The rabbit melted in his mouth. the most tender. delicious, I can't get enough of it. In principle, the recipe book is not particularly needed, I cook. as usual, but just at a very high speed. One nuance silicone ring or valve smells like the previous dish, a little annoying. I want to disassemble but do not risk it yet. And so my under running water. Thank you all for your advice and help in choosing a good kitchen assistant. [/ B]

Hello everyone))) Today 1040D came to me and now I don't know whether to be happy or not. I bought it, especially without reading the functions, but simply because my mother-in-law has one and she is very happy. My main frustration is that she lacks milk porridge function. Due to my inexperience in this matter (this is my first such self-brewing unit), I was sure that this function is on by default in any such unit, it turned out not, but this is just my jamb. Girls, tell me please, they cook milk porridge in it? or it's easier for me to resell it or return it to the store while it's new. This question is very important for me, because there are two small children in the family.

Congratulations! You will definitely figure it out And milk porridge is cooked in the Oatmeal mode. All. And porridge on the water - on Rice
Ivarina
Aygul, Thank you so much! For these two days I sat on the forum strenuously and watched what people write about other pressure cookers, like how they cook, even without the declared function of "milk porridge", my main fear was that milk would not run away under pressure)) or even worse not exploded)) but my fears were dispelled, thank God! Thanks again))
Aygul
Irina, well, we have a button for milk porridge, and this is Oatmeal. Most importantly, let the pressure normalize itself, otherwise the lid may splash
Our pressure cooker is good for everyone, only the instructions are very meager and confusing, so just in case you need to: make baked goods in the Baking mode with an OPEN valve, time 45-50 minutes.
Ivarina
Aygul, I agree, the instruction is only for waste paper)), I've been actively using it for two days now and I'm completely delighted !!! I don’t understand how I wanted to sell it, it’s beautiful! I have already cooked Druzhba milk porridge, made a dinner of Chicken breast in milk sauce with rice and Curd casserole. Everything turned out very tasty, fast, healthy, in one word delight! It is a pity that there are no sensible recipes in the kit, you have to invent it yourself, it is especially scary to make a mistake with the proportions, but while I was lucky, everything got into the box)) I would have posted my recipes, I don't know if I can? and I don’t understand whether you need to create a new topic or there is already a topic for laying out recipes for our pressure cooker?
