Ingredients

Cooking method

  • There was a need to dispose of fresh, but overgrown cucumbers. I decided to cook something similar to lecho.
  • The amount of all the ingredients had to be taken upon availability.
  • Cut off the tips of the cucumbers to give stability to the "cups". Peel the skin, remove the seeds with a knife and a teaspoon. Put in a multicooker pan in 1 layer.
  • Finely chop the carrots, leeks (light part), finely chop the dill, lightly salt and sprinkle with vinegar, mix. Stuff cucumber cups with a teaspoon, tightening the filling as tightly as possible.

  • Salt tomato juice, acidify with vinegar and add a little sugar, to taste.
  • Gently pour first into cups, then pour the rest between them so that the juice slightly covers the cucumbers.

  • Put the pan in a slow cooker, on the "stewing" mode, for 1.5 hours.
  • Cool, carefully put in another dish, refrigerate. It turned out to be a wonderful summer snack!

I haven't tried frying. Here the cucumber taste is very appropriate, as it is a cold appetizer. The further, the tastier they become, the cucumbers crunch, the taste is slightly pickled.
