Cooking method

  • For this garden, I always carefully select vegetables - small tomatoes, pickles, small onions, small zucchini, small squash ...
  • Some vegetables require prior preparation. We clean the carrots, cut into thin rings, blanch in boiling water until semi-soft. Cut out small inflorescences from cauliflower and blanch the legs until soft.
  • Put 3-4 cloves of garlic, 2-3 lavrushkas, a piece of 2 cm of hot pepper, 4-5 allspice peas, 3-4 cloves, dill, cherry leaves in a jar. We lay vegetables beautifully. Cut the peeled onion into 2-4 parts, bulg. pepper in strips or halves, I also buy a fist-sized white cabbage specially for this GARDEN, I cut it into slices like an orange with the obligatory stump, otherwise the leaves will crumble.
  • And now the most important thing is the fill.
  • For 3 liters of water - 4.5 full tbsp. tablespoons of salt, 10 tbsp. l. sugar, 150 g vinegar 9%.
  • The first time I pour boiling water, it costs 15-20 minutes, I drain and measure the liquid, make a brine and fill the jars, roll it up, wrap it up.
  • It turns out that's such BEAUTY !!!

From my rich experience with this recipe - I advise blanch carrots and cauliflower, if you just put it, then you will not bite the carrot, it will be as fresh, and the cabbage will also be tough. I even tried to put corn, chopped with washers - both fresh and boiled are absolutely inedible here, despite the terrible beauty in the jar!
I also put the blanched beetroot, at first it was also very beautiful, but then the brine was colored, and after it all the other vegetables, it turned out, though tasty, but ugly!
Everyone will pick up vegetables according to their taste in this seaming, because this is a GARDEN!
I have been making this recipe for 20 years, time-tested!

it should be delicious - the proportions are classic, and you should take milk corn, no more than 15 cm in size, blanch the same way as carrots, I made it with cucumbers - the taste is simply amazing
