Cherry Curd Pie

Ingredients

cottage cheese 9.5% 300g
pitted cherries (drain juice) 0.5KG
eggs 3 pcs
sugar 1 glass
flour 1.5 heaped glasses
butter 150 g
vanilla sugar 1 sachet
baking powder for the dough 1 sachet

Cooking method

  • I take cherries either canned or fresh (fresh ones can be mixed with a little sugar and left overnight), the juice must be well drained on a sieve.
  • Rub the cottage cheese twice through a sieve (if the store cheese, then I usually do not do this). Stir in soft butter.
  • Beat eggs with sugar. Gradually add the sifted flour mixed with baking powder and vanilla sugar. Combine the curd with the resulting mass.
  • Grease the form with vegetable oil, lay out the dough, level, spread the cherries on top, gently press them into the dough with a spoon.
  • Bake in the oven at 170-180 * C for about 1 hour, in a multicooker for about 75-80 minutes, in a bread maker for about 50-55 minutes, in a Soviet miracle oven for about 30 minutes.
  • After baking, do not open for 15-20 minutes, then cool slightly in a mold.
  • It smells AWESOME TASTY !!! Bon Appetit!

I have some kind of early tasty variety - it usually ripens in early June, and this year I tried it at the end of May. Due to the heat for a week, by June 10, it was already overripe.

Atian-Tatiana, thank you very much for the recipe, delicious, quick and simple.
I made it with plums, into which, since there were a lot of them, I added a little tapioca starch.

To your health!
I think I once baked with black currant, but I'm not sure. There is always nowhere to put the cherry harvest)
