And the fact that stew for 2.5 hours is because my husband loves very soft vegetables, I tried 1.5, but he didn't like it. So everyone chooses for himself. When I read recipes, I do not always cook exactly according to them. I add something, I take away something. Everyone has different tastes. As for ketchup, perhaps less, but I like it so much, delicious.
