Salted straw chak chak

Ingredients

Salted straws 100 g
Honey 1/2 cup
Raisins 2 tbsp. l.
Almond petals 2 tbsp. l.
Sugar 1 glass
Cognac or rum 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Pour the raisins with cognac and leave to swell. From half a glass of water and sugar, boil the syrup, to which add the swollen raisins and almonds. After boiling for a couple of minutes, turn off the heat and slightly cool the syrup. Mix syrup with honey and add straws, broken into small pieces (~ 1.5 cm). Mix everything, arrange in tins, sprinkle with almond petals on top and send to the refrigerator.

The dish is designed for

2-4 servings

Time for preparing:

1 hour

Note

I saw the preparation of this chak-chak in the "Test Purchase", I wanted to repeat it. Reduced the amount of water by half, because in the original the dessert turned out to be liquid - it was clear that half of the mold was occupied by syrup.

A tricky recipe! And the salt in the straw is no longer felt afterwards?

it's that simple.
It seems to me that the salty straw is the most relish

It's right! The salt, as such, is not felt, it dissolves in the syrup, but there is a certain piquancy.

dopleta, have you ever eaten chak-chak?

Ate, Merri... And if you want to ask if this one is similar to the real one, I will say - very little. But it was under this name that the recipe was placed in the original.
Merri
Dopletochka, do not be offended, but it is like protein and real black caviar. The name is one, but the taste is completely different. I do not like surrogates.

Don't, don't eat! Or let's call the dessert "Salted straws in sugar-honey syrup" for ourselves. If so, without connection with the chak-chak - does it cause rejection? But I have no right to rename, the recipe is not mine.
