Lithuanian challah in the oven

Ingredients

Dough:
Wheat flour 125g.
Pressed yeast 6d.
Warm water 200g.
Dough:
Opara
Wheat flour 250g.
Salt 6d.
Sugar 8d.
Vegetable oil (I have corn oil) 55g.
For lubrication:
Egg* 1 PC.

Cooking method

  • Prepare dough. Dissolve yeast in warm water, add flour, stir until smooth. I immediately kneaded in the combine. Leave for 30 minutes (at a temperature of 30C). I have 40 minutes. at a temperature of 20C:
  • Lithuanian challah in the oven
  • Add the remaining flour, butter, salt and sugar. Knead in a combine according to the scheme:
  • 1 speed - 2 minutes
  • 2nd speed - 5 minutes.
  • Dough at the end of kneading:

  • Form a ball out of the dough, place in a container, cover with foil and leave in a warm place for 2 hours. I put the dough in MV Brand mode.
  • Next, divide the dough into three equal parts, roll into balls:

  • Then roll out a cake with a long side of 30 cm from each ball:
