Cottage cheese casserole with sun-dried tomatoes and basil

Ingredients

cream cheese 300 g
egg yolks 2 pcs
corn starch 1 tbsp
Sun-dried tomatoes 4-6 pcs
green chili (fresh) 0.5 pcs
basil (green) 1 tbsp
freshly ground pepper mixture, salt taste
pine nuts for sprinkling

Cooking method

  • 1. Stir cream cheese (I have "Philadelphia") with egg yolks, starch. salt and a mixture of peppers until smooth (do not beat).
  • 2. Finely chop the basil, cut the pepper into thin half rings. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into cubes. Combine all the ingredients and put in a greased baking dish (I greased with butter, in which the tomatoes were languishing). Sprinkle with nuts and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Turn off the oven, open the door and let the casserole cool slightly right in the oven.

Note

The casserole can be served warm or cold. A light and, at the same time, hearty and healthy snack. Especially good in summer with a glass of light wine. Try it, highly recommend.
Cook with love and bon appetit!

Oira
Pine nuts. Can you replace cream cheese with cottage cheese?
Twist
Oira, can. Just beat it with a blender or rub it through a sieve (before starting work with all the other ingredients)

Wow? I didn't even think that you can make a casserole with sun-dried tomatoes! I got used to the sweet version. We must try, it's interesting. I remember using cottage cheese in mini-pizzas - delicious, now I'll try to make a casserole
Twist
ilonnaI hope you enjoy it. I don't really eat cottage cheese in its natural form, so I have to invent something. The product is useful. So this option was born.
