Cooking method

  • I'm not what I like, I just love Greek cuisine! And this is not at all surprising, because for so many years I have been living in this beautiful and rich country with wonderful culinary traditions! I bring to your attention a wonderful film "A pinch of pepper" and an equally wonderful and popular dish from this film - keftedes. As a bonus, I decided to present together with keftedes - Imam baildy, because, usually, I always cook it in tandem with keftedes and because it is just very tasty, especially since it is shown in the film itself, although it was cooked by me completely another version. Watch a movie, cook Greek food, listen to great music and enjoy, because it's worth it!
  • "Fanis was born into an ordinary Greek family, but spent his entire childhood in Turkey under the supervision of his grandfather, who was not only an excellent cook, but also a philosopher. Grandfather lived according to the principle" in life, as in food, there is always a place for spices. "
  • A person should be able to add significant events to life in order to give it a certain "flavor". Fanis grew up and became a first-class chef under his leadership.
  • Fate divided them, and Fanis spent his mature years in Athens, trying, according to his grandfather's instructions, to be not only an excellent cook, but also, if possible, “sweeten” the life of the people around him.
  • After many years, Fanis returns to Istanbul, to his old grandfather and the woman who once was his first love, and only then realizes that he forgot to leave at least a pinch of the fragrant pepper for himself. "

Nata, and I watched the movie "A pinch of pepper" +1, such a leisurely movie about the main, reminded me of our cinema of the 60s (I mean the USSR). I really wanted a completely different ending, but on reflection, I realized that everything is natural ... Thanks for the tip on the film and you have cinnamon in your meatball recipe ...
natapit
Vika, my recipe says cinnamon or oregano, and I love the movie!
