Dauphine puffed potatoes

Ingredients

Water 125 ml
Butter 30 g
Flour 70 g
Eggs 2 pcs.
Boiled potato pulp 250 g
Salt, spices taste

Cooking method

  • Potatoes - last year's harvest - boil in their uniforms and dry slightly.
  • I cooked in a pressure cooker for 5 minutes, then drained and dried the water on the "Steam cooking" program for 5 minutes with the valve open.
  • Peel and rub, add salt and spices to the potatoes.
  • Boil water in a saucepan with butter, add flour there and stir quickly.
  • Then put the bread machine in a bucket, add eggs and mashed potatoes, put on the "Jam" program - if the bread machine is a brand, or on any at once kneading program in another bread maker.
  • Knead for 5-10 minutes.
  • Dauphine puffed potatoes
  • Put in a bowl - you get a rather sticky mass.
  • Dauphine puffed potatoes
  • It can then be deep-fried in two ways:
  • 1. Put the balls on a floured board, roll in flour
  • Dauphine puffed potatoes
  • and fry.
  • Dauphine puffed potatoes
  • Dauphine puffed potatoes
  • 2. Or transfer the mass into a polyethylene bag, cut through a corner, and transfer it into deep fat with tubes.
  • Dauphine puffed potatoes
  • The second way is easier.
  • Delicious anyway!

Oh, what delicious donuts! And delicious, I guess! How tempting they look! Straight hotzza gobble up one ... two ... no, three ... but what is there ... gobble up everything

Olga, thanks for the recipe! Does the dauphine taste like croquettes? Or does a small amount of flour in the dough change it? Very beautiful anyway!

What's the matter?! Here the whole difficulty is in dry potatoes - so you can bake it - at least in the microwave!

Well, it's like a completely different recipe - choux pastry with the addition of potatoes.

When I saw the word "bake", I immediately remembered about the potatoes made from coal. I don't even remember when I ate one. Chet so wanted

It will do - just boil it, then cut it into slices, keep it in the refrigerator for at least a day - the excess moisture will evaporate.

Olya, and what does "brand bread maker" mean? I have an LG-205 model, there is a program called "Jam", it heats well there on this program. To use it or how?
And again: rub the potatoes like a grater? Large or small?

About the bread maker - this is such a model, the Brand 3801 bread machine.
Make this recipe the usual way, like choux pastry.
Potatoes can be of any size.
