I came across such an electric pasta cooker on the Internet DeLonghi PMC 110.

The pasta cooker is interesting because it does almost everything by itself. You pour water into a bowl and put the pasta in a special basket. There are wide openings (windows) for spaghetti in the basket, where they are placed "full-length", you won't have to break the spaghetti. Plug in the appliance and set the time required for making pasta using the buttons on the control panel. When the water boils, the pasta basket is automatically lowered into the bowl. A special device built into the basket agitates the pasta during the cooking process. When the cooking time has elapsed, the pasta basket rises automatically and the water flows out. You can put the pasta sauce in the removable container and it will get hot while the main course is cooking. The basket itself is made of aluminum and has a Teflon coating on the inside, so any pasta will not stick to it during cooking. The electronic timer allows you to program the cooking time of the pasta so that it will be hot when you arrive home. The outer walls and handles of the container are made of plastic, so they do not heat up. The pasta basket and sauce container are easy to remove and dishwasher safe.

Would this device be useful in our kitchens?

Serious
The ideal option is for each type of food its own specialized device, which does only this, but does it super conveniently and super quality, while a huge kitchen where all this is worth. But unfortunately this is unattainable for the overwhelming majority. So we find reasonable compromises, combine something, and corrode something.

No really! Cook pasta - we will not give it to the machines!

An interesting little thing, but unnecessary for me, you can boil macaros yourself ...

Better than me, no pasta cooker can handle it))))))))
Lilyanna
whatever they can think of ... such a thing is good for those who VERY love pasta, and for those who eat and don't get fat ... that is, definitely not for me.

The thing is certainly interesting! But it costs like a plane 5500 rubles ...

And I was interested in the machine.

I would probably be. We love all kinds of pasta very much. I'll go and study. Or maybe it's really not as convenient as we would like.

That’s what they just don’t come up with to shake the money out of us girls who are eager for devices! And they know that we will shake!

Yeah. I found a small review in Russian on the Internet. A lot of unnecessary words, but in short, then:
The device is intended for cooking spaghetti (or other pasta) in automatic mode. Water is poured into it. The stand is set for the required number of servings of spaghetti in a holder net. There is a special holder for long spaghetti. Just pasta - poured in the right amount into the grid-holder. A timer is set - when you actually would like to taste these spaghetti. At the right time, the device heats the water to a boil. Then he lowers the pasta net into boiling water. It also interferes with the cooking process. Then he takes out the net with ready-made pasta from boiling water. Allows water to drain. That's it - the pasta is ready! We just have to appear in the kitchen at the right time and put the pasta from the pasta on the plate. The device is called PastaMore DeLonghi PMC110 ...

I understand that water is poured down, and dry pasta is in the grid on top, and they are lowered into boiling water on a timer, well, or without, immediately - without delay. It also mixes in the process. Aaaa Already want

Over time, when I asked about the need for this device, I can say that it would not have taken root in my family. We don't like pasta very much. And its focus is very narrow.
Kestrel
Nah, we're all pasta. We need to. I went to joke where I can get it. (apparently, nowhere)

Yes, we are not Italians even once !!
