Ingredients

Wheat flour 420 g
Butter 240 g
Powdered sugar 140 g
Egg yolks 4 things.
Vanillin or vanilla sugar
Lemon zest
Marmalade for lubrication
Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Cooking method

  • Make a smooth dough from the specified ingredients and put in the refrigerator for about an hour. Roll out the dough on a floured board into a layer 3 mm thick, cut out any figures suitable for the event (for example, for Christmas - stars, bells, etc.). In half of the cut figures, make holes with smaller notches. Place on baking paper and bake at 150 ° C until light golden brown. Grease the bottom of the Linetsk biscuits with marmalade, sprinkle the top with powdered sugar and put on the bottom.

Note

I dipped small cookies, obtained by making the topsides, in loose chocolate, decorated with a sugar bead. I made marmalade myself from apple jam. I chopped it with a blender, boiled it, added starch as a thickener, when it cools, a shiny thick mass is obtained. I applied it warm. Delicious and festive cookies. Actually, the Czechs call it not cookies, but sweets (Linecké cukroví), they must be prepared for Christmas. Decorate any tea party. I found the recipe here: 🔗
