Another novelty Oursson MP5005PSD
Oursson MP5005PSD multicooker-pressure cooker - reviews and discussion
Oursson MP5005PSD multicooker-pressure cooker - reviews and discussion
This is what I saw when I opened it:
Pros:
1. A lot of metal in the construction, everything is done thoroughly enough
2. Russification is done very responsibly, all the buttons are in Russian, the instructions and the recipe book are qualitatively made (not on poor gray sheets, but glossy decent editions with pictures), the exception is that on the display itself the inscriptions are still in English, which really does not interfere
3.3 levels of pressure, and a change in pressure is possible during the cooking process, 1 level - 0.3 kg / cm2, 2 level - 0.5 kg / cm2, 3 level - 0.7 kg / cm2
4. Sufficiently large LCD display
5. The coating of the bowl looks strong enough, the ceramic (smooth, strong, not soft at all), the bowl itself is quite massive
6. Condensate drain along the circumference of the multi
7. The handles of the bowl go beyond the limits of the multi itself, with the corresponding grooves, as a result, they do not heat up and it is convenient to take them, without the risk of getting burned
8. Made in Korea
9. Packaging is well done and sufficiently colorful (important if the product is intended as a gift)
10. Sufficiently wide network of service centers
11. Good equipment, includes 2 measuring cups, a set of measuring spoons, a 2-level steamer (steam cooking is possible under pressure), a spoon for stirring
12. Volume - 5l (as in all multicooker, there is a volume of the finished dish, it is always less than the declared one, in this case 3l)
13. The cover is not plastic, but metal, massive, leaves a feeling of reliability
14. Many programs - Simmer, Steam, Fry, Boil, Stew, Roast, Porridge, Roast, Baking, Drinks, Yoghurt + program of your choice
15. The display shows the time, current temperature, mode
16. Delayed start timer from 1 hour to 8 hours 50 minutes
17. It is possible to change the heating temperature in the range from 60 to 80 degrees, by default - 73 degrees
Minuses:
1. Not small enough and not light enough (heavier than the 18th Panas, although IMHO does not much exceed it in external dimensions, but it looks more massive)
It's not clear, plus or minus:
1. The lid is fixed precisely on the bowl, that is, it (bowl with a closed lid) can be pulled out of the multi directly in the closed state (under pressure), if necessary
Natural qualities:
1. Protection against opening the lid with pressure inside
2. Double overpressure protection
3. Overheating protection
4. Detector of the presence of a container for cooking, if the bowl is not supplied, the device will not turn on
5. The function of keeping the dish warm up to 12 hours in the modes Cook, Stew, Porridge, Drinks
Somewhere like this ...

I have a green cartoon, I quickly tested it, here is the result (I took the recipe here on the forum), my kids have a curd casserole for breakfast:
Oursson MP5005PSD multicooker-pressure cooker - reviews and discussion
Serious
I continue, this morning I decided to make a casserole of millet porridge (millet loaf), for this I took a glass (small from the multi set) millet, washed it in cold water, poured it into a saucepan, filled it with 2 glasses (the same) milk, a quarter a teaspoon of salt and sugar (here individually, we love such things sweeter, so I put three quarters of a cartoon small glass of sugar) and all this for 40 minutes on the porridge program at pressure level 1. After that I shifted the porridge, added 3 egg yolks to it and mixed , then whipped 3 egg whites (added a little sugar to the protein to make it more magnificent) and carefully whipped protein into the porridge, added 10% cream so that it turned out to be a creamy consistency, greased the washed multicooker bowl with butter and laid out the resulting mixture, closed the lid and put it on baking for 40 minutes, pressure 0.
Here's what happened:
Oursson MP5005PSD multicooker-pressure cooker - reviews and discussion

I have this too !!! I am very pleased! I cooked both soup and hodgepodge in it And stewed vegetables - everything is wonderful! Very smart machine - compact and Korean - I recommend everything !!!! Pay attention to it when choosing.

I was looking after myself for a girlfriend for Cuckoo and became interested in this cartoon. If it's not difficult, post a photo of the inner bowl and additional accessories. Thank you in advance.

not a very good photo, but like this:

Thank you for your attention to the request, and the cover of the multi can be removed completely, like a frying pan, or is it attached to the body?
Serious
the cover can be removed completely.
Pilgrim73
And can you cook in it with the lid open, for example, fry or fry cutlets?
Serious
It is possible with open and closed at zero pressure, and at three different pressures.
And I
The lid is very compact - flat and not large in diameter - it is more convenient for me personally with a separate lid and it does not interfere with cleaning and cooking.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have anything to do with Korean pots, it would be interesting to compare, but I noticed the common handles on the pots and in the accessories, a one-to-one spoon from Bork for 33 ..... only black). I saw the Cuckoo in Stockmann 1010, it seems, but in appearance it loses exactly, and you can check the saucepan only with time. It is very convenient to let off steam, in contrast to Moulinex, where you just turn the valve quickly, and here the wheel smoothly moves throughout the saucepan and, accordingly, the steam descends smoothly.
There are a lot of programs (for me) after Mulinex - everything is easier there, so all the pros and cons are still ahead). And so everything is done very well and the saucepan for steam is also comfortable, since it is deep enough and two-level.
See her live in stores (she is in the online trend). In Moscow on the Sokol.
As for the inner bowl, there is a weak point !!!! When closing (screwing the lid), the outer edges of the saucepan are slightly scratched - this does not affect cooking - but it says something about strength ...

And they gave me one yesterday! Beautiful - no words! But where can you get the recipes? A native book - not from our life, completely exotic ... And almost all the recipes for 30-40 minutes .. Strange. Maybe someone has already gained experience? Yesterday we tested: Dauphine potatoes. Happened! But! 30 minutes for Fry. Pressure 2. I would like to be quicker ..

I will continue ...
I made an omelet for the children in the morning, I took the recipe from here, for which thanks to the author Galina1805:
6 eggs
milk - measured as it was said in the recipe with 6 halves of eggs, that is, milk 6 halves of eggs
mixed with a fork, in no case whipped !!! (these were the recommendations in the recipe)
salt to taste
I heat the multi bowl up to 50 degrees in the "Heating" mode, grease it with butter inside, pour the mixture and put it on "Baking" for 15 minutes, pressure 1.
After the end of the program I let off steam and leave without opening the lids for 6-8 minutes
I always take out this way - I take one part of the steamer, lower it on top of the product and support it with my hand, turning the bowl, I take it out, then the product simply does not break and remains whole and beautiful, it does not affect the taste
The omelet does not fall off, which in my opinion is a great advantage (I put one piece upside down on top to make it clear what it is from below).

Do not hesitate, try it yourself, take ready-made recipes and see which ones can be cooked with pressure and reduce the time essno.
And I
The recipes are common for everyone, you just need to understand its logic. Apparently, like the Cuckoo 1010, the time was immediately and accurately counted there, here too.My Mulinex time does not take into account the set of pressure, and this is about 10 minutes. with hot water. I just increase the time by 10 min max. from a logical cooking time. Yesterday I steamed vegetables and fish in a double boiler for 17 minutes.
Today I made a cottage cheese casserole on the baking program for 1 hour 10 minutes - it turned out great - even browned. Then I cooked chicken thigh soup on the program, set it to 27 minutes, which is also normal. You can spend less time, but I don't risk it yet. Yes ... I also tried the mode of the yogurt maker - everything worked out great - I put 4 jars from a standard yogurt maker in a double boiler and turned it on at 7 in the morning there was an excellent yogurt, now I will give mine to my relatives))) I also made 1 hour 15 minutes on baking. hot chocolate from the forum, it also worked out. I also made a compote of dried fruits on "drinks". Usually I set the pressure to 3 or not at all - in the case of baked goods and a yogurt maker.
Many thanks to comrade "Serious" with his prompting I purchased this wonderful device and I have NO regrets !!!
In general, it remains to figure out the roast and fry programs? (So far only roasting is clear), well, there is nothing to torment and I don’t know how.
Serious
Lucky you, I don't have enough time to try everything yet. It's just that I have 20 years of experience in selling household appliances, the potential of the device is immediately visible. Therefore, as soon as we received these cartoon characters, I immediately took it for myself, although at home about Panas (10 and 18) and 4000 muliks. I love this business ... Soon my wife will expel
And I
Thank you, Konstantin!
Everything is available, I will think in a different direction, it's nice to communicate with an intelligent person))))
Regarding Ourssona - fry and roast - how it can differ (judging by the time and temperature), but how and in what case to use these programs is still unclear. Maybe you have an opinion on this?
Today I made an omelet in your image and likeness)))) it turned out for 10 minutes. pressure is true 2 - it is not yet clear how to motivate the choice of pressure - 1-2-3 - in my understanding, only speed - therefore either 3 or 0). And what do you think?
Serious
Pressure 1 is good for all foods that we cook in almost the usual way, but don't want to boil over.
Pressure 2 - while I think why I might need it, experience is still not enough
Pressure 3 - for quick cooking.
Pressure 0 - steam release after cooking or cooking food with the lid closed, but without pressure, in the traditional way.
Programs - it’s too early to say something here, you don’t understand it in a week or two, you have to experiment.
kisa
Goodnight! I bought myself one a month ago (a green apple), So far I only managed to make buckwheat porridge with sausages. It seems bulky to me and I can't get used to it yet. The lid still closes inconveniently and slips on the table very much. And yet, it seems to me a minus that the problems of transferring from place to place, there is no handle for which you can move as in other pressure cookers and multicooker. I have something to compare with: I have a Panasonic multicooker, a redmond and a Landlife 2011 pressure cooker.
And until I figured out the pressure of 0, 1 and 2.

Report
about cooking buckwheat porridge (according to the recipe)

1 cup buckwheat
2 glasses of water (although I always make 3 glasses)
Salt, sugar to taste

I decided to first fry the groats on the Frying program, although I should have done it on Frying.
She fried with the lid open and did not reheat it, but immediately put the cereal.
The display shows
40 minutes - 23 degrees
32 minutes - 126 degrees, and then the temperature dropped to 123.
At 30 minutes I turned off the program. There was no special roasting, just for testing.
Then she poured 2 glasses of water, a little oil, sugar, salt. I closed the lid, set the pressure to 1 (according to the recipe). And then she sat and looked at the screen.
40 minutes - 86 degrees - quiet
37 minutes - 97 degrees - quiet
36 minutes - 102 degrees - quiet
35 minutes - 109 degrees - steam has gone, you can hear how it boils, apparently gaining pressure
34 minutes - 113 degrees - noisy, steam
33 minutes - 112 degrees - quieter
32 minutes - 111 degrees - the noise dies down, there is no steam, apparently starts to cook
31 minutes - 110 degrees - everything is quiet, no steam
I tried to open the cover, it does not open. Locking is excellent
29 minutes - 110 degrees - hiss, steam went
28 minutes - 111 degrees - abated
26 minutes - 110 degrees - hiss, steam
25 minutes - 111 degrees - quiet
24 minutes - 110 degrees - hiss, steam
23 minutes - 111 degrees - quiet
22 minutes - 111 degrees - quiet
21 minutes - 110 degrees - hiss, steam
20 minutes - 112 degrees - quiet noise, little steam

18 minutes - 112 degrees - no noise, no steam
17 minutes - 112 degrees - no noise, no steam
16 minutes - 110 degrees - no noise, no steam
15 minutes - 116 degrees - quiet noise, little steam
14 minutes - 117 degrees - quiet noise, little steam
13 minutes - 116 degrees - no noise, no steam
12 minutes - 114 degrees - no noise, no steam
11 minutes - 111 degrees - no noise, no steam
I tried to open the lid again, failed
10 minutes - 110 degrees - no noise, no steam
9 minutes - 117 degrees - no noise, little steam
8 minutes - 118 degrees - quiet noise, little steam
7 minutes - 117 degrees - no noise, little steam
6 minutes - 115 degrees - no noise, little steam
5 minutes - 111 degrees - quiet, no steam
4 minutes - 111 degrees - quiet, no steam
3 minutes - 108 degrees - quiet, no steam
2 minutes - 106 degrees - quiet, no steam
1 minute - 104 degrees - quiet, no steam
0 minutes - 73 degrees
A small melody sounds. Pleasantly.
According to the recipe, you must immediately open the lid. Did not work out. Purely intuitively, I put the pressure lever on the “steam” symbol, a little steam came out, there was a click and the lid opened. The instructions do not say about this anywhere.
Now I put the sausages in and left them on the heat. After 40 minutes, the sausages are ready (I just forgot about them), whole and tasty. The porridge is delicious too. It keeps the heat perfectly. The temperature is 73 degrees.

Serious
I continue the theme of casseroles, I took the recipe from the multicooker:
Round grain rice (most common) - 1 multicooker
Small zucchini - 2-3 pieces (in my case 3)
Tomato - 2 pcs.
Cheese - 300 grams (it is even better to take more cheese - but that's how you like it)
Onions - 1 large onion
Eggs - 4 pcs.

Boil rice on the Porridge program (1 multi-glass of rice - 2 multi-glasses of water + a little salt, less than for ready-made rice), 40 minutes, pressure - 1, after the signal I waited for 5 minutes and then let off steam and opened the lid.
While the rice is cooking, prepare the rest:
Finely chop the onion and pour boiling water over it.
Cut the tomatoes into cubes.
Grate the cheese.
Grate the zucchini and squeeze it well, there should be as little liquid as possible (a very important point, squeeze it conscientiously).
Combine tomatoes, zucchini, onions (do not forget to drain the liquid from the onion), eggs, half of grated cheese and cooked rice.
Season with salt to taste and mix well.
Place in a greased bowl.
Sprinkle generously with the remaining cheese on top.
On the Baking mode, for 1 hour, the pressure is 0 (I changed it a bit and cooked for 15 minutes at a pressure of 1, then switched to 0 and continued to the end). From my photo you can see that it was possible to cook less, the crust darkened, but not burnt, there is generally a question of taste, try it, look.
If the zucchini is not very squeezed out, and after an hour it seems to you that the casserole has not grabbed and there is liquid, then leave it for another half an hour (in my case it was not necessary and even a bit of liquid is present, and this is evident, it does not interfere, there is very little of it)
Before eating, the casserole needs to cool down a little and, if desired, pour sour cream (I ate without sour cream, and the children grinded with sour cream only on the way).

Nice pressure cooker. I read the instructions - I liked it (the program is your choice and the rest of the set of programs, the ability to spy on the temperature, the ability to increase the pressure during cooking)
Questions to the owners. Is the lid convenient to wash? Confused by a lot of any valves on it, it's all to scrub. And also, like a pressure cooker, he cooks crumbly cereals (rice) and like milk porridge. In my Redmond, the problem is with cereals and milk porridge. The rest - everything is OK, so it's a shame to buy another MV for 10 thousand and "miss".

Useful devices:
The list is correct, but, probably, with the presence of CF, the yogurt maker is superfluous. In CF, yoghurts are very good.
Serious
It is convenient to wash the lid, the cap on the valve is removed from above and washed, you can completely disassemble it, but I have not disassembled it yet, so everything is washed, the gasket is simply removed, washed and reinserted (in a word, without effort, no problem). I cooked the groats of millet, rice - everything turns out crumbly and quite successful. I haven't cooked milk porridge yet, I'm afraid I won't try it in the near future, we don't really like them.
vegas-spb
We haven't prepared yet, but I will describe first impressions:
1 - interesting design immediately attracts
2 - the bowl is rather heavy with a thickened bottom, cannot be compared with the thin cups of Redmond, Panasonic, Maruchai, etc. - I compared them when buying. It seemed to me that the Oursson 5005 bowl is similar to the MB Bork bowl.
3 - the design of the steamer allows you to steam a lot, it is possible to add a second tier to steam 2 dishes at the same time.
4 - the buttons are pressed softly and smoothly, next to the window was a Redmond 4504 - there they somehow dangle, like in a Chinese calculator)
5 - I liked the complete absence of a foreign smell, again in contrast to the above MV. I don’t understand why such expensive multicooker like Redmond M70 and Panasonic 18 have a "slight" foreign smell of plastic on the showcase.
6 - the lid opens and closes simply.
7 - judging by the set of programs, you can cook a lot, but it will become clear in a few days when we begin to master the recipe book.
8 - I liked the recipe book - good printing, original recipes, the cooking process is described in detail with photographs.

I wanted to throw off the link to the site of the store where I bought it, but the moderation does not allow it. They have the only ones in St. Petersburg Oursson 5005 available, the site has detailed photos and descriptions of programs. And you can come and compare all the multi "live" - there are about 20 different models of cartoons on the same shelf - compare as much as you want, feel, touch, etc. Beauty !!!.
At first I chose a cartoon on the Internet, but communication "live" (as it turned out) means a lot.
In general, I will master and unsubscribe as much as possible)
I don’t regret buying yet)
Happy Holidays and Happy Weekend everyone!

Serious, please tell me if I understood correctly that this beauty has no sensory programs, but only automatic ones?

Olenna, Let me be curious, what are sensory programs?
Levitan
Sorry, I will answer about sensory programs.
This is when the multicooker automatically detects not only the temperature, but also time for preparing... For example, when cooking cereals (buckwheat rice), MV works until the water evaporates, then another 8-10 minutes and turns off. On automatic programs, the time is set manually, the temperature is automatically maintained.
Now the owners of multicooker will shower me with virtual slippers, but I don't trust these touch ones. Of course, I use it sometimes (my CF has sensory ones).
vegas-spb
Thanks for the answer.
I understood which programs I was talking about, I had such programs (Rice-Quick - Normal) in my old Supor multicooker (a friend from Hong Kong brought it 2 years ago). Used only for cooking rice and buckwheat.
vegas-spb
I, too, did not quite like the work of these programs - it was not clear when the MV would turn off, the countdown began only 8 minutes before the shutdown.

So you would insert a link so as not to make a mistake with the recipe

And best of all, without external links, why should you carry recipes from other sites

We prepared ourselves - the recipe and photos themselves were posted, everything is clear and there is someone to ask questions, so your own cookbook on the multicooker will accumulate, here on the forum.

Here, we also test the new model and create the recipe book ourselves, advise our users, share our experience https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&board=558.0

I have 3 slow cookers, but for some reason it's scary to approach this one. Therefore, I use any information. Thanks to your forum and others for the information.

I agree, people will decide for themselves where they like and where to settle

But running around on different sites is not always justified if you want to master an expensive model of the device. Here on the forum all conditions have been created for collective knowledge of multicooker of any model! And such examples are enough if you go through the Household appliances section.

If we talk about expensive multicooker devices, then we were not afraid and created a large section on COOKING, with many recipes and tips for using a multicooker - and it paid off!
We ourselves brought recipes from different sites (and did not send them to other sites!), Invented ourselves, cooked according to the recipes we brought ourselves, posted these recipes, photos here on the forum and helped people to master multicooker

And thus we have accumulated many recipes on the forum!

As you can see from the photo there are no thermal sensors in the lid, the T * sensor looks like one in the bottom of the multicooker. It does not seem to determine whether it is liquid. The valve in the cover is purely mechanical.

Chicken with rice in Italian
Products

Chicken fillet - 500 g
Butter - 40 g
Bacon - 50 g
Onions - 1 pc.
White wine - 100 ml
Rice - 1 mst (180 ml)
Ground black pepper
Grated cheese - 45 g

Fill:
Water - 60 ml
Tomato paste - 1 tbsp l.
Salt - 1 tsp

Preparation

Cut the products and put in layers in the multicooker bowl:
Half a piece of butter
Onion
Bacon
Chicken pieces
Rice
Remaining pieces of butter
Pour wine and a mixture of water, salt, tomato paste. Spice up.

Set the 3rd pressure level, the "Porridge" program for 40 minutes.

Please don't scold me. This is from another site. It's just that some sites already have answers to our questions, that's why I'm writing. Let people read and buy this slow cooker, and on this site we will continue to discuss everything.

Also, now I put yogurt according to Yana's recipe from the same site for 7 hours. I don’t know what will happen. I'm looking forward to the evening. Before that, I always did it in Panas. In Panas, I put the container in warm water, turned on the heating for 20 minutes, it costs 1 hour, then again for 20 minutes, heating for 1 hour. And the yogurt is ready. But everything must be done in a warm room (in the kitchen). In the room, why didn't I succeed. And here I put the glasses in a double boiler (600 g microwaves with screw caps). There is no need to add water (as if on dry). Yoghurt program 7 hours

So. It is clear with cereals - there are no problems. In my Brand 37501 the sensory Rice and Buckwheat work for about 40 minutes. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the automatic Heating in this saucepan, which has set many teeth on edge, is absent in the Manual mode. So the flag is in our hands and we are preparing anything from the evening without problems with heating. I'm sure this feature will add fans to the saucepan. I'm already drooling so. True, I don't have enough time on the timer for 8 and a half hours, well, nothing, after all, there is heating on porridge! And I have one more cartoon with a very correct and convenient timer (see above)
