Ingredients

Chicken wings 6 pcs
Water Glass

Bitter and allspice pepper 5-7 peas

Cooking method

  • We take chicken wings, soak in the marinade. We prepare the marinade as you wish. On a glass of water, poured a little vinegar, a couple of leaves of lavrushka, bitter peas, a little sweet peas, 5-7 peas each, a pinch of salt. A couple of garlic cloves, chop. For 3-4 hours the wings are in the marinade, but if you are not in a hurry, then it is better to hold at least the night. Soaked better.
  • We buy a smokehouse in the store. And we stock up on sawdust. I planed it with an electric plane. For chicken, cherry is better, it is sour, for fish - apricot, pear, apple. We put the smokehouse on two burners, on low heat for 30 minutes. We remove and eat. Unusually juicy and tasty, and not like in the store))) For the experiment they put a couple of pieces of chicken fillet, it was cooked great, but a little dry. Additional information for owners of homemade smokehouses: Mackerel grated with spices is cooked for 20-25 minutes, depending on the size of the fish.

When buying a smokehouse with an eye to using it not only outdoors, but also in the kitchen at home, you should pay attention to two things:
1. The presence of a water seal - a kind of groove along the entire perimeter of the upper edge of the smokehouse, where the lid is inserted with its bent down edges. After installing the lid, ordinary water is poured into this groove. It prevents smoke from smoldering sawdust from entering the surrounding area. To remove smoke from this type of smokehouse, their lids have a welded pipe, on which one end of a sufficiently heat-resistant hose is put on. Its other end is led outside the kitchen, into the fresh air. In this case, the smell of smoke will not be felt in the kitchen at all, and over time, the hard-to-remove and very harmful characteristic resinous coating will not settle on the ceiling, walls, shades and other surfaces, the smell of which will permeate the entire kitchen over time.
2. The smokehouse should be chosen with walls about 3-5 mm thick, so that they are not "led", that is, they are not deformed when heated both on 2 burners of a gas or electric stove, and on fire coals.
Since I myself have been using such a device for a long time, I must warn those who want to enjoy homemade smoked meats, and not poison with liquid smoke: you will have to pay for all the joys and pleasures! Washing the insides of the smokehouse after a cooking session is not very easy and rather dreary.
A Karcher high-pressure apparatus can help in this matter.
At the same time, it will be possible to wash the car with the tracks.

Moreover, with the active life of our family, and camping with an overnight electric pressure cooker and a smokehouse in one glass is not suitable for us. But the prices for smokehouses are high. This is not a reproach, but my opinion. My smokehouse cost me $ 50 and the quality is decent. You can put on gas, you can smoke in nature, pouring liquid into the burners to kindle charcoal, or dry alcohol.
