Buns from the cartoon "Carlson Who Lives on the Roof"

Ingredients

Flour 1 kg
Butter 200g
Sugar 200g
Milk 0,5l
Eggs 2 pcs
yolk 1 PC
yeast 11g
sugar for sprinkling 200g
vegetable oil 100ml

Cooking method

  • And here we indulge in buns.
  • Famous buns Freken Bok from the cartoon "Carlson Who Lives on the Roof".
  • This is a classic recipe for sprinkling with poppy seeds, raisins, cinnamon, dried apricots, and more. You can add the zest of one lemon to the dough.
  • Preparation:
  • Dissolve yeast in warm milk, add 0.5 kg of flour and stir. Put in a warm place, covered with a towel. When the mass has doubled, add sugar, softened butter, eggs and the rest of the flour. Knead the dough (so as not to stick to your hands) and leave for 1 hour. After the dough has come up, divide it into 4 parts, roll each into a layer. Lubricate the layer with vegetable oil, roll up and cut into pieces 4 cm wide. Make an incision in each piece and unfold. Brush with yolk and sprinkle generously with sugar. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Let them stand for a while (about 20 minutes) and send them to the oven for 30 minutes. Bake at 180 degrees.
  • Bon Appetit!

For the sake of such pleasant memories, these buns just need to be baked to try.
Thank you!

Hello Tamara!
Your wonderful buns, I sent them to bookmarks.
Only I do not quite understand what it means: "cut and unfold in each piece", please explain. I'd like to do these.
