Ingredients

Cooking method

  • 1. Peel the apple, core it and cut into half rings approximately 0.5 cm thick, drizzle with lemon juice and set aside. Prepare minced meat from the above ingredients.
  • 2. Dough: boil water with butter and pour into flour mixed with powdered sugar. Quickly knead the elastic dough (if desired, the dough can be seasoned with nutmeg).
  • 3. Line the baking sheet with baking paper and spread two-thirds of the dough over it - it is very flexible and easy to shape.
  • 4. Fill the form with layers of minced meat and apples - the top and bottom layers should consist of minced meat.
  • 5. Make a "lid" from the remaining dough, pinch the edges tightly. Cut a hole in the center for the steam to escape and bake in an oven preheated to 170 degrees for about two hours. Brush the top of the pate with an egg before baking.
  • 6. Remove the finished pate from the mold and cool completely. Prepare the jelly and pour into the pate through the steam outlet. During baking, the minced meat will thicken and a space for the jelly will form under the lid.
