Phoenician pie with semolina and turmeric

Ingredients

Semolina 100 g
Wheat flour 250 g
Granulated sugar 200 g
Milk 200 ml
Turmeric 1 tsp
Ground anise or vanilla 1 tsp
baking powder 1.5 tsp.
Sesame 60 g
Pine nuts 30 g
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Pour the rust into the bowl of the pressure cooker. butter, put sesame seeds and pine nuts.
  • We put on the "Fry" program, the "Cereals" mode. - 20 minutes.
  • You can mix it once in the process, or you can not interfere - and the sesame seeds are fried so perfectly.
  • During this time, we prepare the dough - mix the milk with granulated sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Mix flour, semolina, baking powder, turmeric and ground anise (if you don't like the specific taste of anise - change to vanilla) mix and add this mixture to milk. Stir well and quickly place in the bowl of the pressure cooker.
  • We put on the "Baking" program - 45 minutes with the valve open, then, after the end of the program, we leave for 20 minutes with the lid closed.
  • Then we take out the bowl and leave the pie in it until it cools completely.
  • When it cools down, they turned the bowl onto a plate, and a pie with tea!

It turned out not bad. But next time I will do it with amendments: 1. I will fry the nuts without oil, in my opinion, it clogs the taste of the grains; 2. I will cut the amount of semolina by half, because the pie turned out to be too dense.
