Ingredients

potatoes 1 kg
roots (parsley, celery, parsnip) 450g
turnip onion 2 large
thyme fresh 2h l.
vegetable oil 3st. l.
salt, pepper to taste

Cooking method

  • potatoes can be cooked without roots, just with onions. I had a small piece of parsley root, it turned out delicious.
  • turn on the oven at 230C. Cover the baking sheet with baking paper.
  • coarsely chop the potatoes. peel the roots, cut into small cubes. onions - in slices. pour everything into a bowl, season with salt, pepper, add oil, add thyme, mix.
  • pour onto a baking sheet, bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown, stir a couple of times during baking.
  • I also added garlic, in the peel, so as not to burn. then on a plate it is squeezed out of a clove, delicious
  • the potatoes are wonderful - there is little oil, there is a minimum of preparatory work, ruddy outside, baked inside, kaaayf! ...

And I had an improvisation on this recipe. Boiled potatoes almost until cooked in a slow cooker for a couple, drained the water. On the fry, first fry the onion with celery (tuberous), took it out with a spatula and put potatoes in its place, sprinkling it with a little sunflower oil on top and fried until golden brown. I added fried onions to the potatoes and sprinkled with spices for potatoes + mixed dry garlic and turned off m / w. It turned out very tasty, almost like from the oven. For the potatoes there will be pickled tomatoes with cucumbers and boiled sausages. We will celebrate the second day of the holiday with such delicious potatoes.
